Old Man Snail's Achievements

  1. Maybe increase the res of the video so the graph is more clear and not as pixelated, or is this because of dropbox. I'm not a pro either but the diagram at the start could of been shown for a bit longer (8 seconds?)
  2. Nice, but could you post some better pics please? Also what speakers are those?
  3. Just save for a bit longer and buy a 770. It's only an extra £29 http://www.scan.co.uk/products/2gb-scanfx-gtx-770-overclocked-28nm-pcie-30-%28x16%29-7010mhz-gddr5-gpu-1072mhz-boost-1124mhz-cores-1536
  4. Just recieved my set from WASDkeyboards in the US for my UK QuickFire Rapid. They're ABS but are decent and I was given one of these keycap pullers.
  5. BF4 is still a broken mess and doesn't play well with Nvidia cards
  6. 560 Ti owner here. Great card when I bought it in 2011 but it is starting to become too outdated now. Will hold on a lil longer as the games I play run good (DotA 2, CS GO etc) but new triple A titles are demanding or very AMD optimised.
  7. Makes me want to buy a 720 or 710 case and do this myself! Can't wait for more updates
  8. This is a 3rd party device. Aka not an official product that is licensed for the system
  9. On a more budget orientated setup at the moment being a student and all. Still very happy with it though. Shure SRH440 headphones Xonar DG soundcard Dell 2.1 speakers from '04 which came with our old dimension. Would like to replace them with some Audioengines A2s in the future.
  10. Today it seemed better, was getting on average 120KH/s on each core. Even with my CPU at 100% mining Quark, my system still feels alright to use for general browsing and office work. No lockups yet
  11. You'd be better off investing in a decent monitor. Your current 780 is certainly no slouch so driving a 1600p screen shouldnt be an issue
  12. Ive started mining Quark coins as its no longer viable for me to mine LTC now. On my stock 2500K this is what I get: My temps are very low so I'm going to overclock it soon. As far as I now there aren't any GPU miners. For anyone looking to get started, here are some links: http://quarkdb.com/ http://qrk.mine-pool.net/start.html 64-bit CPUminer. Remember to check which SSE version your CPU supports. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B9cvOfoOekSdVzZZcThLZHg4bjA/edit
