  1. I mean you could use any Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard combo couldn't you or even a media keyboard with just a wireless dongle should work though the floor as long as your house is not huge this is a cheep option you could try. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Keyboard-Touchpad-PC-connected/dp/B014EUQOGK/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2ZR2MYM6FO72K&keywords=logitech+media+keyboard&qid=1687205989&sprefix=Logitech+media+%2Caps%2C86&sr=8-3 Or you could do it how i used to but it janky when i had my VR downstairs and my Computer upstairs i used Team viewer to control the computer from my phone or a laptop
  2. thanks That Answers how the weird ones i found on amazon work but i could not figure out how an M.2 could connect the GPU did not even realize that was an option probably not worth it with so few lanes since there is not a giant gap between the 2 only roughly 22%. was just hoping there was some simple bare bones plug and play type thing I was missing Guess I will just start grabbling the pieces I need to upgrade to a 12 or 13 gen CPU at some point
  3. I recently ordered a new laptop that's CPU just destroys my old 8700k in my desktop and I was wondering if there were any affordable options that would let me Connect my 3070ti 8gb to it until i scrounge enough to upgrade my tower CPU. I upgraded to a 3070ti Last year but have recently been out doing more and wanted something with some more kick to take with me. my understanding is as it has not arrived yet is that it has got a 4060 8gb 140 watt GPU in the laptop so its not that far off in power from what i can tell. so if there is not a cheaper option I am going to just hold out for the around $800-$900 it would be to upgrade my main system. I would just use the PSU out of my main pc so if there is some sort of basic dock I could just set in my PC that would be ideal. Laptop is a ASUS ROG Strix G16 G614JV-AS73 Core i7-13650HX, 16GB GeForce RTX 4060 Just have not been able to find more specific info on the GPU
  4. My favorite part of the G3 would be its look... I am a case person i slap an otter box on everything to protect it but the G3 is one of the first phones i have seen that i would actually leave case less because i like the look. the look from the front is gorgeous.
  5. I have a kind of weird setup in my house hold. There is one line that runs 30Mbps down 5Mbps up. Currently I have a linksys e1000 the problem i am running into is connection issue and semi slow wireless speeds. By connection issues sometimes the router drops a computer and will not reconnect or it just wont let it connect to begin with, resulting in me having to unplug the router and soft reset to get it to work. My main computer is on a hard line but it feels like all our mobile devices are slow. There are 8-12 devices connected to the WiFi on average not all going at once all the time. The main 2 things i want to know is 1 is there another router i can get that will better support the number of Phones Tablets and Laptops connected to WiFi. I looked around but there are so many different numbers and crap that i am just not sure(the sad part is this is performing better then the crappy one timer Warner gave us that split the connection every time a device connects ... and its 4 years older lol.) 2 I would like to put a second line with my main computer for my secondary computer but it requires running a 30meter cable is there any way to split the connection without losing ping or speed. I know about switches but i think that has a negative affect on ping if i am correct and the second pc is a streaming/media pc so i was wondering if there was a way to do it without a lot of degradation due to that. ... only thing please no netgear... I have had really bad experiences with net gear routers... I personally prefer linksys i only need basic port forwarding and stuff nothing to crazy. of course protection is a no brainier. Edit i think the only thing in the house that is ac is my note 3 and maybe my note 10.1 2014 edition
  6. So just out of my curiosity has anyone used the Dual Intelligent Processors 4 that comes with the Mobo. It has a 4 way optimizer built into it for overclocking. It ran its thing until it crashed my system. Its a i5 4670k I am no oc expert but it put me at a 4.7Gz oc with a frequency of 100.0x47 the strap shows at 100. I left the power options unlimited as i had about 100w of power left under a stress test temps never broke 48C under load. none of the core the voltages broke 1.280 the cpu never went over 69.9watts. the ram was clocked at 1596MHz i was only watching core o and it stayed at 4.7GHznot sure about the rest of the cores though they all went up about 10C it was Diablo 3 on max settings it just happened to be what was there to test i can try other stuff. this is under air cooling in a room thats about 65F with a coolermaster evo 212 with one fan on it 4 120mm fans on the case2 in 2 out and 1 140mm in pointed at the gtx 780. It just seems like something strange is going on with it its really high speed and lower temps then i expected. the questions i have are below 1.if anyone has used it how reliable is it 2. do the numbers above seem right 3. is there anything i should worry about listed above? I have not long term stress tested it but it seems as if the built in stress test is good because it died as soon as it went to 4.8GHz Maybe I am just a noob maybe I won the lottery i am not sure any help would be appreciated.
  7. I used a different program and idol they are around 20c and under load the cpu gets between 30-42c. The gpu is about the same. though i do keep my room cold its not quite 0 lol between 10-20c lol
  8. I am using speed fan just basic thanks Got it OK i know the bios has all kinds of options for it Thanks all
  9. Anyone one know were a good guide for this is? I have never done it before. My cpu is a i5 4670k idols at max 9c and tops out at load at about 30c but i feel it is a bit underpowerd as i find my games not able to run max 1080p at 60fps this is what i want to oc My mobo is a asus z87 pro my cooler is an cool master evo 212 with one fan I have a corsair Tx 650 psu that i need to replace again cause the dam thing clicks because it has a bad fan controller again. a windforce gtx 780 oc edition Idols at abount 30c about 50c at load think i got bad silicone due to those temps but i don't know how to monitor gpu performance any tips would be good. maybe this is why my my games seem so slow maybe i should check. Also if it dosent include it what programs do i need for Cpu overclocking and testing, My mobo came with stuff to do so not sure how good it is. gpu monitioring testing and overclocking never installed the gigabyte one cause everyone says msi afterburner is better What do i need to know most importantly so i dont break something
  10. While after several hours of research last night i have come to the conclusion it is a TX series wide problem... Strange how it never comes up in the dozens of review i read before buying it... might just have to drop the hundred dollars on a new brand.
  11. This sound is what my is coming from my computer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWE9e9ZEJOE. Any ideas... It sounds like it is coming from the psu but i just replaced it with an RMA after 24 hours it started again The psu is a corsair tx650 modular well semi modular... Nothing is in the fans i have stopped them all and none of them are making it. the HDD both sound silent the only thing i have not done is pull the gpu. The sound stops when the psu fan kick on. Help corsair has been impossible to work with on this 45 min support waits and the works... i cant even figure out what triggers it dose it whenever it feels like it. seems like it might be a thing with corsair psu... i might order a replacement and seek a refund its ungodly annoying.
  12. Power bar ?... I put my hand in and stopped all the fans its none of them and it comes from the area of the psu distinctly. I originally thought it was one of the fans myself. But it stops as soon as the fan in the psu starts... If you mean a surge plug it has been plugged into 2 different ones on two different outlets.
  13. So my power supply is making a clicking noise... My RMA is on the way but is it safe to use for a few days till the rma gets here??? it stops when the fan kicks on. irs a corsair tx 650m
  14. The fans are tight but even with the screws the side panel is lose fitting it is also a tad flimsy because it has a fan grill and plastic view port. The concern wit the rad is that the z87 pro has a gold lump at the top of the board as well as the cpu connector. I had to mount the fan in that position offset because the cord would not let it fit in regularly. just covering my bases for when i get a water cooler i get the right size.
