  1. i was browsing twitch and saw this varus 1 trick do something incredible. Insane reaction time. He saved pyke and hit the cait at the same time. https://clips.twitch.tv/SavageGracefulKiwiPermaSmug-9ZyPOT623hJ5DEdX
  2. Current setup - Magni 2 uber & smsl m8a dac current headphones are audio tech ath m50x and a set of yahmaha hs5 + hs8s for speakers. I plan on upgrading to a pair of planar magnetic headphones and was wondering if id see a difference with a better amp. I've read you dont really need a better amp than a magni 2 so i figure id ask around.
  3. i have a 2080 super and a 3900x and my cpu folds keep crashing so only my 2080 is getting 2mil points a day
  4. Thank you, and I don't mind noise as I work in fan rooms fairly often and have to wear hearing protection, is the $400 worth the upgrade to the 2080ti?
  5. customer support "The bottom of the SM580 does support 140mm fans by default. We have seen customers fit slim 240mm radiators down there(fans DO NOT fit with a slim rad), but it’s not officially supported. I’ve never seen a slim 280mm in the bottom of our case, and again, it’s not officially supported."
  6. get away is in without a fan or get away as in due away with the 120mm rad all together. Also the stop clearance total for rad mounting is 73mm total including a fan. Noctua fans are 25mm meaning a 45mm rad will fit. I have the 3000rpm fans due to my environment. Like you said I will hardly have them run at 3000 rpm but where I leave (i.E. in barracks) i dont have control over my heat or a/c. Sometimes its 69F and sometimes its 80F it just depends. What are your thoughts on fittings. Should I buy some right angle fittings? And at this price bracket would it make sense to just jump up to a 2080ti?
  7. So after a while of trying to find a good deal on a rtx 2080 laptp with a 240hz screen, I have found the sliger sm580 and a small vesa monitor stand. So I can make the dimensions work with this small desk. Here is the current part list. I have done the math according to jayz2cents about having 1 x 240mm x 30mm rad per component you plan on overclocking and 1 x 120mm x 30mm rad per component at stock speeds. Doing the math a 45mm 280mm rad plus the 27mm 120mm rad is roughly a tad bit higher in radiator surface area than 2 240mm x 30mm rads. Please weigh in and let me know i'm correct in the cooling capacity of this current loop. Currently I need conformation on my current pump/res as I'm having trouble verifying if there is room in the case for it. If not do you have any other suggestions vs just using the top rad as a res or a t junction/valve. if there is a combo cpu block that would probably work. Also did i Choose the correct fittings? Thanks again I'm fairly new to watercooling but Very confident. Thanks for the replies
  8. its not the build its self but a monitor. For the monitor to fit where I cam currently at it has to be less than 12-14" tall and i want a high refresh rate, i have a really small desk and am restricted to the furniture i have now due to regulations
  9. my only issue is i litterally have like no space for a desktop for like the next 2-3 years, and i just sold my desktop which played at 240+fps and 240hz and this 1050ti and 60hz screen sucks for competitive gaming on twitch
  10. I'm buying a new laptop preferably with an rtx 2080, 16gb of ram or higher with an i7/i9 and a 240hz screen. On top of this I need a long lasting battery (not for gaming), thunderbolt, and as small as possible. So far I have found 3 laptops msi gs 65 - https://www.amazon.com/MSI-GS65-Stealth-430-i7-9750H-Thunderbolt/dp/B07QHG7NGR/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=msi+gs65+rtx+2080&qid=1571253452&s=electronics&sr=1-4 My fav ^ alien ware m15 (old model with thick top and bottlom) 240hz, i7, 16gb ram, 2080, 90w battery - $2399 (military discount) hp omen 15 - 240hz, i7, 16gb, 2080, 76w battery - $2200 (military discount) then another thought is having a cheaper laptop with a 144hz screen and just building a 2080 pc but it would be about another $500 more total. Is the gs 65 worth it? I have been looking at it for the past 4 months
  11. Idea for ltt, a buyers guide for competitive esports gaming using all major esport titles overwatch, rocket league, csgo, Apex legends, fortnite, realm royal, league of legends, rainbow 6 etc for 144hz/240hz gaming using 1080 all low settings and 1080p max. Streaming enabled 144/240fps for a baseline 720p 60 32 samples . To help find the machine most gamers want. So ideally it shows you the minimum if you just want to reach 144/240 if you want to he a streamer or not.
  12. Idea for tech quickie why did the zune fail/ was it ahead of it's time (had an ammoled screen)
  13. I should mention I am in the us that might be where the Warranty is different
  14. I just looked again and zotac says 3 years where did you find 5?
