wqesad523w reacted to iLenovo in Internet being horrible?
What's ironic is that I just upgraded to AT&T DSL via Ethernet (usually faster) and I hit speeds of 158 Mbps download and 123 Mbps upload.

AT&T never gets you that full speed. I supposedly have 12 down but the max I can get out of a speed test is about 8.

So to understand you correctly, you are in a house connected on the Local Area Network over wifi and your computer is the only one experiencing the weak speeds?
Have you confirmed using a web speed test that their machines are in fact hitting speeds significantly higher than yours?
If the above is all true than the fault lies within your machine. I'll wait for your response.

wqesad523w reacted to Majestic in Gaming headphones
Evening all,
So i'm soon moving out, and I want to move my speakers down by the television. So i'm looking to buy a pair of phones just for the PC.
Now I already have an AudioEngine D1 DAC and a pair of Bowers&Wilkins P7, but they're musical closed headphones and made for mobile devices. I'm not convinced they're particularly well-suited for positional audio and extended playing sessions. Especially since they clamp pretty firmly and i wear glasses.
I looked at a few video's and forums and i've been looking at the Audio Technica ATH-AD500X. Those seem really open and should provide some good positional audio.
Can you guys vouch for these phones? Or do you have a similar priced headphone that would be better?
- open headphone
- <150 ohms (D1 restriction)
- primarily for gaming
- most immersive/positional audio
- not a cloud hyperx
- over-ear design
- budget around the price of the AD500X in my country (~150 euro)
edit;
- no headsets
So tldr is the Audio Technica ATH-AD500X any good for gaming? Recommendations if you think they aren't.

If they weren't worth the money, people wouldn't buy them. There's a lot more to it than just memory size.

wqesad523w got a reaction from pomaranc in Whats a good CPU Cooler?
I am planning on getting a better case, the PSU is for future upgrading to a possible 290X which would take up like 500W, the ram I think might have been on sale so it might have been cheaper (the psu was on sale)

wqesad523w got a reaction from NitrosNachos in NVIDIA GT 620 Brief Review
It sucks. End of review. JK but seriously it sucks.
So when I first bought it it ran Minecraft at 200 FPS but now it runs it at 60 FPS. It runs Minecraft modpacks at 100 fps for some reason. It also gets 10 fps with shaders.
Plants VS Zombies Garden Warfare? Don't even try... Its OK as a budget card but just save up and buy a GTX series card.
