  1. Budget (including currency): Max €1000 (i know thats a lot but i'm pretty sure an upgrade wont cost me this amount. Just looking for suggestions! Country: Netherlands Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games 1080p 144hz (Trying to achieve MAX FPS as much as i can when playing games) I don't want to play higher than 1080p. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): This is my current build: CPU: i7-4770k Cooled by CORSAIR h80i Motherboard: Asus sabertooth z87 Ram: 16GB DDR3 Vengeance 1600Mhz GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 WINDFORCE OC 8GB Space: 1x SSD 128GB ADA | 1x 2 TB Seagate Desktop Case: Cooler master Haf x PSU: Corsair CX750M Bronze 750W ATX23 What i want is to keep my gtx 1070 I think my cpu is outdated so is my ram. So im not sure what i could buy to achieve the best FPS with my gtx 1070. Any suggestions?
  2. Yeah wont work. Im just going to follow the advice of my friend. I took out the HDD connected it to my PC. Right now im transfering the important files i need and im going to do a fresh reinstall. Thanks anyway for your suggestion.
  3. This is what happend before this issue is happening to me. Pretty sure not related but yeah. Yesterday i tried to change the computers name on my laptop. It was set on my own name with 2015 behind it.. i did not like that. When i changed it and hit save. My laptop froze and went straight into the bluescreen. After that it started up and got into the screen where it told me repairing disk errors. After 30 minutes it told me that this "issue" cannot be solved. So i had the option to shutdown my laptop or go into advanced options.... I literally cannot do anything. I'm on Windows 10 THINGS I HAVE DONE TO SOLVE THIS: Reset (gives me an error telling me it cannot be resetted without any reason System Restore to a point from 2 weeks ago (An unspecified error occured during sysytem restore (0x80070003) Safe mode gives me the same Bluescreen error but it looks scuffed. Running windows NON Safe-mode gives me an Normale bluescreen with this stopcode: 0xc000021a What i really want to do right now is just to get my files. Like my documents, images, word files out of my laptop into my USB if possible.. And do a fresh reinstall of windows.. Can someone help me with this? How could i transfer the files to my USB without actually getting into my laptop because of the bluescreen. I've run a MEMTEST, passed all the tests. Did a full HDD diagnostic and that was good aswell.. Not sure where this problem has come from... but all i want right now is just to get my files on my USB and do a fresh reinstall.. I kinda wanted to do this 3 months ago and this kind of did me a favor maybe? aslong if i can get my files out save...
  4. Hello everyone.. I've just replaced the battery for my galaxy S6.. and for some odd reason the touchscreen is not responding anymore. I just disassembled my phone again to see if i disconnected the connector for the LCD/Touchscreen but that is fine. i even disconnected it for 5 minutes to see if that would resolve this issue but no result.. Can anyone please tell me what the problem is? does my phone need a full reset or is there maybe something i've messed up with the motherboard? When i done unscrewing the 13 screws and then continued trying to disassemble the body from its enclosure i did get my "knife" between the LCD and the motherboard at the top of the phone.. could i have messed up something there? Is there any cables or connector between the LCD and the motherboard... if so i have to probably heat the LCD and take it off the body/motherboard.. so please tell me there is nothing between the LCD and body/motherboard.. i hope anyone can help me out here... i really need my phone. the battery is fine and the phone boots up. When i place my thumb on the home button even works! but the screen doesn't... Thanks in advance.
  5. Hey whats up guys! My GTX 780 was dying.. if you want more info you can see my last 2/3 topics about it... anyways couple days ago my GPU finally gave up.. tried everything to see if its really my GPU. and yes it was.. Well before i was going to give totally up on my GPU i tried the oven trick and it worked.. my GPU is back to life! i know its only temporary but i wanted to see what i could do with a dead GPU other than keep it on some shelf . now there is only 1 complication... the fan speed of the GPU goes very fast up and down for no reason.. GPU temp is around 23c... the idle temp has even dropped because before the temp of my GPU was around 33 on idle!.. now the fan speed goes literally.. and i mean literally over 9000... what is the cause of this? should i try the oven trick once again or is there something with the software? because whenever i uninstall the drivers the GPU is just fine.. when i am in the BIOS menu its fine.. whenever i run the PC in safe mode its fine.. its only whenever i download the drivers it goes crazy.. i tried downgrading my GPU drivers.. even lowering it to the 355.98 did not work.. same goes with PrecisionX downgrading to 4.2.1 still doesn't work.. What could be the cause of this? I'm just trying to play around with my GPU until i can buy my GPU begin next year. i want to try the best i can to work that GPU out till i can't.. Thanks in advance for your help guys. Ramin
  6. Nah, ill be fine with a single card for a long time since i will only be playing on 1080p 144hz. I could have went with a 1070 but i think i can save up for a 1080
  7. Hey! As the title already states will my PSU be fine if i would run this setup? My setup right now: CPU: I7-4770k GPU: EVGA GTX780 (Its dying and will be dead in about 2 months probably) CPU Cooler: CORSAIR Cooling Hydro Series H80i Motherboard: Asus SABERTOOTH Z87 RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 1600 (4x 4gb) Power supply: Corsair CX750M Bronze 750W First Harddrive: Seag 2TB 7200rpm Second Harddrive: (WINDOWS INSTALLED ON) ADA SSD 128GB 520/550 Nothing is OC'd and i'm not planning to OC anything anyways... What I'm probably going to get this Xmass is ASUS Strix GeForce GTX 1080 OC edition 300W OR ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 Strix 180W As you can see there are some W difference... will this mather if i go with the OC edition? its actually €50 cheaper... That is my question! thanks in advance for helping me out..
  8. When i had the issues with the GPU someone did advice me exactly as you described to try to plug my monitor into my motherboard IO and nothing was showing up on my monitor... pc ran fine... but wasn't showing on the monitor... I'm confused what is causing this.. ill try tomorrow again and see what happens. And i think you and Docswag are right.. i think my GPU is dying slowly.. its been over 4 years now.. my GTX 780 did a "Ok" job i guess... now i gotta find a gpu soon...
  9. Hi there folks.. Long ago i posted a thread asking if my GPU was dying because i was getting these type of screens while playing videogames. Well... it kept crashing... so i kind of updated everything including the GPU client that is EVGA and downloaded a driver for my GPU and it fixed it self... and now its back again.. Yesterday when i was playing Battlefront 2 it crashed once again.. had to restart my pc and then it crashed again when i launched the game! I have noticed that my mouse lags whenever i move it aswell... like really really lag.. never ever had this issue before. And i dont have any fps loss in videogames. Today i done a loadtest on my cpu and i see a 10c different between the cores.. could this be the issue that causing these crashes and lags? I'm gonna buy some paste tommorow and hopefully try to fix this issue.. but i thought i want to post this thread just to see what your guys opinions are about this.. (pic related) could the temp difference cause any damage or is it harmful? Thanks in advance for your help!
  10. Yeh it came with 3 year warranty... Well that was unlucky...
  11. Could it be something in my pc that caused this to die quick? i've never OC'd it aswell.. i dont understand how fast this gpu died.
  12. update: it seems it is the GPU. did a benchmark for the GPU and got the crash. i changed the power supply cables that provide power to the GPU.. going to try to do another benchmark if it doesnt work ill try to change it on another PCI slot and see..... thanks for the help guys.
