I got an Asus Vivobook 14 with Ryzen 5 processor and a 512gb nvme ssd a month ago, and recently from past couple of days system became very unstable, so much of lags , bsod etc , so i decided to reset the windows , i did reset the window but after that my laptop keeps booting into bios, after several tries i noticed that there isnt any ssd showing in the bios, so i made a bootable windows 10 usb drive and tried to install windows again and the installlation media isnt detecting ssd either, the setup starts but there isnt any drive to install windows on. I tried disabling secure boot but still no luck and theres no csm option in bios either and i already have the latest version of bios. now i am left with no operating system at all. Any suggestions??

So i reset windows 10 on my old PC as i am planning to sell it and just to make sure everything is working fine, after that it isn't recognising my audio output , moreover I've ni microphone connected and windows detecting a microphone, so i tried to uninstall the HD audio driver from device manager and restart the pc still nothing (i checked the insert the speaker cable in right jack) So i had this old microphone which i haven't use in almost 4 or 5 years i plugged it in and restart the pc and voila windows recognise my speakers but now it isn't recognising any microphone. This is SUPER WEIRD i installed windows from scratch after removing all my hdd partitions, reflashed my bios , still its the same. Doea anybody have any explanation for that

i was able to make it work, i use to hdd external case to connect it via USB and migrate the Windows from my other laptop, plugged back into the laptop, obviously it was with my other laptop settings so tired to reset it but it gave an erro "no restore ponits found" then i ran a command in power shell "reagentc /enable" and voila i reset my pc install those particular drivers . Anyways it was a hunch and not a proper solution

hard drive is totally fine it was running both windows and ubuntu a day before this

yeah tried that too, no luck. the laptop is i guess 3 years old it has 7th gen i5, I'm not worried about product key its just lack of any OS that troubles me

my sister has an Acer Travelmate laptop She was running Window 10 with ubuntu in dual boot, she formatted the Ubuntu partition without properly uninstalling it, it causes problem in windows booting up something "grub" coming up on screen, so from windows installation media i formatted whole hard drive and try to install new windows from scratch and it got stuck at "Copying files 0%" what i tried 1. trying to install it in Legacy bios, gets nothing but blank screen on boot 2. install windows on this hdd after installing it in my dell laptop,windows intsalled but on bootup its shows something "this system is preserved/secure by....... blah blah blah i can't remember it and when i installed that hard drive in her acer laptop it got stuck in bootloop at acer logo. now she has laptop without an OS ,plz help cuz I'm bashing my mind over this from last 24 hours.when i try to install it in Legacy BIOSand here it got stuck

theres no gpu , i gave the 750ti which was in it around 4 years ago to one of my friend as i wasnt using this pc, so monitor is plugged directly into motherboard

I tried 3 different ram modules, i think its either motherboard or processor

already tried several times, cant even boot to bios , the monitor isnt getting any signals

MOBO : Asus P8H61 MLX3 R2.0 CPU : I3 2120

but the processor green led lit up like it does on normal conditions

So, i still have my old pc which i havent been using much as i dont stay at my home from past couple of years, this time when i came home i decided to ready that pc for my father's net browsing and light office work. Now when i tried to boot it, it doesnt boot up, Whats working : CPU fan, CPU green light Whats not working : No hdd orange light, nothing on monitor as its not getting any signal(monitor power led keeps blinking), cant even boot to bios What i tried: swapping hard drive(bought new one) still nothing, swap RAM still nothing, swap all sata cables, What i cant do: try different motherboard and CPU (h61 chipset and i3 2120)(yeah i know pretty old) CPU fan is constantly running and the green CPU light, its just no hdd light, and nothing on monitor(i can hear hdd running) So any advice what can i do to find out whats wrong and how to correct it....???
