WHat do you plan on doing with this build? As far as I can see, it is way overkill JUST for gaming purposes. 

Way overkill for Gaming.. Look at my specs below (yes I do only game at 1080) and I am able right now to run everything on Ultra.with half your setup, and hoping you get the 980Ti you shall have no worry for a very long time. 
 
Also DO NOT do the Raid0 SSD's Its been proven time and time again that in many cases it actually degrades performance, and when it doesn't the performance increase is completely pointless. 
 
And with the MB talk about honestly you just drop in a H97 and still have a great time, MB don't make a performance increase, But I would never advise a entry board. The Gigabyte looks really good, I would suggest looking at the MSI Gaming series as they are really well priced and got some solid features.

You dont need more.

2x8gb ram is the max IMO for gaming.

He wants to go for 32GB. He is asking if its better to go with dual channel 2x16GB or quad channel configuration 4x8GB.
 
My opinion:
If you are not planning to upgrade your system's ram 4x8gb sticks would do the trick. Quad channel is much better because the information can go through all 4 of them which means the ram usage is much more efficient. If you are planning to upgrade your ram (I dont think you need more than 32gb unless you are running a server) go with the 2x16GB. But that is going to be slower and plus, you will have to buy ecc memory to be able to find 16gb ram sticks.

Genius speakers in this system? Really? You'd be better off with some decent in ear headphones for the same quality. 
Audio alone this setup is way unbalanced. Graphic wise two Titan X are overkill for 1440p and you'll really push the limits of that PSU.

Go with an i7 5960X on an X99 mobo. Also, 32GB of RAM minimum.
 
Upgrade your SSD to 1TB, come on now.

Personal preference changes:
- Razer Chroma keyboard > Corsair's RGB board (idk the name/model)
- Add another monitor.. it's really worth it. Doesn't have to be the same one, just the same size, really. (it will look better if they're the same, but Swifts are expensive.)

2 Titan x is wayyyyyy overkill for 1 1440p monitor. For 4k i can kinda see why but not for 1440p.

Don't mix up comparing RAID0 to a hard drive.
An SSD has incredible benefits beyond just boot time, but the performance difference between one SSD and two in RAID0 is not linear.

Unless you are in an enterprise situation there isnt, but in normal consumer uses it is definitely not much better

Used to be of benefit a couple years ago when I helped my parents with sound production, newer integrated sound processors have improved dramatically, so yeah....more or less useless unless seeking out of box compatibility with things like hackintosh etc

I've heard of the new Mangas however nothing on new anime ... I hope it comes out as I'd like to see what happens now as I feel that the Second Raid left off on a bit of an unfinished note so would love to see what they do now as I am not a massive reader of manga but a long time watcher of anime.

Unless you need features like the ability to encode to Dolby Digital or DTS in real-time to a receiver via optical, most onboard cards can't do that. An esoteric use, maybe, but they're not irrelevant.

Yes, it all depends on the fan they use, if they use a fan, and if the fan has an automatic mode. My PSU produces zero noise until my system is at about 40% load, then the fan turns on. Until then, the fan doesn't spin at all.
