Out of context from another thread, but it reminded me of a guy from highschool.

Rewind to 2003! Bruce Almighty just came out and dumbguy said Carrey's Saleen S7 was actually a McLaren F1, when I pointed out the difference he got angry and said I was wrong. Good stuff.

We're walking past the IT block, there is a pile of old computers on the grass because our school liked looking like shit, dumbguy points into an open case and says "Look, you can see the hard disks" (they all had their single hard disks removed and he was pointing at the power supply)
"That's the power supply, look at the cables"
"No, those are to hook up the floppy and CD drives to the hard disk"
    "That's not how it works"
"My dad bought a computer last year, I know what I'm talking about"
"We've had a computer at home since 1996 and my dad has worked in the industry since the '70s"
"What does industry have to do with computers?"
"*sigh audibly* the computer industry, coding etc."
"Well I looked in our computer a lot so I know what the bits are all for"

I think when I brought it up again a week or so later he was very subdued and changed the subject quite quickly. He was one of those *this is how I think *thing* works, which makes it fact, so I am right and everyone else is wrong* people. He also didn't understand that the moon does actually rotate, but in a way that we only see the same side, his main argument being "But why do we only see one side?" despite it being explained multiple times by our science teacher... I thankfully lost contact with him after school ended

In the last few years I've switched my display over to pre-built Light-O-Rama DC RGB controllers but did build quite a few controllers and relay packs in the past.  Two sites that my be helpful to you are http://doityourselfchristmas.com/ and http://forums.planetchristmas.com/.

If you ever want to try building a computer controlled controller and synchronize your lights to music, parts for a 8 channel Renard run about $50-$60US and are a lot of fun to build.

Why R2 has no connection at all?

Also I don't see any benefit of having so many AC's connected. You might want to use only one and add a fuse to your design. You might want to solder it, or make it really wide, depending on wattage.

So my dad's a pretty techy person, can build pcs and all (He actually hasn't built one since like '08), but for some reason, he could not find the windows key on my keyboard. I understand that microsoft changed the windows logo with windows 8, but it's still in the same spot and is the only key that look s like a window!
