  1. Studies to measure the actual absorption of B12 involve wholebody counting of radiolabeled B12, counting of radiolabeled B12 in the stool, or both. No data are available on whether B12 absorption varies with B12 status, but fractional absorption decreases as the oral dose is increased (Chanarin, 1979). Total absorption increases with increasing intake. Adams and colleagues (1971) measured fractional absorption of radiolabeled cyanocobalamin and reported that nearly 50 percent was retained at a 1-µg dose, 20 percent at a 5-µg dose, and just over 5 percent at a 25-µg dose. The second of two doses of B12 given 4 to 6 hours apart is absorbed as well as the first (Heyssel et al., 1966). When large doses of crystalline B12 are ingested, up to approximately 1 percent of the dose may be absorbed by mass action even in the absence of intrinsic factor (Berlin et al., 1968; Doscherholmen and Hagen, 1957). From Dietary Reference Intakes for Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Folate, Vitamin B12, Pantothenic Acid, Biotin, and Choline (1998)Chapter: 9 Vitamin B12 Side note; GFuel has 10-µg per serving which is well below any dangerous limit (upwards of 2,000 μg)
  2. Still not detecting any drives in the 3.0 slot
  3. Is this still possible even when I have another 3.0 enabled card in the slot working fine?
  4. So I managed to gett this working on the 2.0 slot however it is extremely slow and not usable, proves the gpu is not the issue. It will register that the 1060 is on the machine however it will not let me update the driver or use gee force experience at all with it. And in games its worse performance than my 280. This is with pci enabled over on board again.
  5. Going to try updating BIOS tomorrow any other suggestions let me know
  6. Is there any chance the new gpu is a broken one? I don't have anything on hand to test this however I could run down a local store to check it some time during the week.
  7. New card is small form factor so can't be clamping down on the sata ports. it isn't disabling the sata ports per say just showing them as all disconnected. The board only has 1 pci-e 3.0 slot.
  8. Brought a 1060 and it arrived today, plugged it in however when i set to boot from on board it shows all four of my sata connections as disabled, using CX600M PSU going from a 280x to 1060 6GB on a z77 pro4-m Motherboard. When booting without a GPU or with my hold one it is just fine and recognises all SATA connections. Any ideas what could cause this? my first thought was PSU not powering it sufficiently however would the power draw of my old card not be significantly more?
  9. Any suggestions? i cant find anything even close to the same specs as that Lenovo for the price.
  10. Hey guys. need a new laptop this year for college. narrowed it down to two options (but I'm open to new suggestions if you guys have any) Option 1:http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lenovo-U330p-13-3-Inch-Ultrabook-Orange/dp/B00MSOKD3A/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1441481844&sr=1-1&keywords=Lenovo+U330 Option 2:http://www.amazon.co.uk/HP-Detachable-Laptop-Graphics-Windows/dp/B00NQY3VT4/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1441482229&sr=1-3&keywords=HP+Envy+x2+13.3%22 trying to decide the pros and cons of having a touch screen & SSD vs. double RAM and better CPU/battery life. would love your guys input since I'm a bit stuck and cant really decide on my own. thanks.
