Story time: My mom just got a brand new Galaxy S6, and wanted me to transfer her ringtone from her old (non-smart) phone to her shiny new smart phone. No problem, right? Just a simple Bluetooth transfer. Well, after transferring the .mp3 file from the basic phone to the smart, when I opened the file on the S6, it was a .midi file and played with the signature midi sound. I checked and the file was the correct file but just got converted over the Bluetooth transfer somehow. Anyone have any possible explanation? I'm dumbfounded. Thanks!

TIL Minesweeper and Solitaire are not in Windows 8 by default, but you have to download them from the Microsoft store.

I am currently on the train, so downloading a game now is not an option

Anyone have any ideas about on a train? I am currently on an 8 hour train ride with only a few games on my laptop and very limited internet (slower then a tortoise walking through molasses.)

I think either way, you'll still be getting just VGA quality. Maybe try getting a better monitor if you can afford it...

Only 60 faps per minute? That's a little slow, might wanna work on that...

We had a family computer (Compaq) that ran what I think was a heavily customized version of Windows 95 or 98. I remember that I was no older than 5 or 6 and I set up my own "workstation" which would be the equivalent of having my own user logon for the computer. I was not ever subjected to any computers anywhere else, this was literally the only computer I had ever used and I had no access to Internet to check it either (late 1990s, rural area). Why did I do it? Everyone else in my family had one so why should I have to share one with everyone else?

I think it hurt the iPod touch line when Apple made an update to the 5th gen WITHOUT a back camera and with the same specs as the 5th gen (to my knowledge). It just didn't make sense...

Gave it a cape so it's actually "super cereal"

I worked at Boy Scout camp for a whole summer. Then I made all my upgrade with my current job's paycheck.

I'm in college so it isn't that bad, but not good either. It's not illegal, just frowned upon.
