Dannykins reacted to tomoki in I think I have a virus
Just going to add one thing. If malware bytes isn't strong enough, use something called ComboFix.exe. You'll find it easily. It looks sketchy as hell when and if you run it but it's the most powerful malware remover I've come across. Apparently pros use it too. I didn't know until years later that they did. The only downside to it is that you may have to reinstall a couple drivers but you get a functional computer.

Dannykins got a reaction from MrTralala in Good Headsets/Microphone brand?
haha if you look at my specs on my profile you will see how poor i am, i actually got the a40s about 3 or 4 years ago on black Friday and they are still going to this day, it was well worth the money i paid, even if it was quite expensive, but back then i was not really into pc gaming so that is why my specs are so bad

Dannykins got a reaction from moderategamer in How does one Simply remove everything from hard drive
if you do a fresh install this will remove everything and leave you with just the OS you installed, so in short yes it will remove all viruses as well.

Dannykins reacted to Darthiss in Best GPU upgrade for current build?
Maybe i'll go for the 960 and may the force be with me

Dannykins got a reaction from Darthiss in Best GPU upgrade for current build?
well your PSU should support most high end GPUs, but you have the same CPU as me but you have yours OC higher than mine, so you probably will not experience as much bottleneck as me, but anyway i want to get a GTX 970, the bottlleneck will be there but as soon as possible i will get new mobo that supports intel and probably get an i5 CPU, i am not sure what CPU will stop my bottleneck but i know a i5 will for sure, however i just do not know if my PSU could support an i5 and a GTX 970, that is my problem, i can deal with the bottleneck for as long as i have to but, i think all in all i am going to have to upgrade quite a lot, and you will probably encounter the same issues as me.

No get a 280 first you'll be okay I have an FX-6300 and 970 and it doesn't bottleneck that often. GPU first

Dannykins reacted to Prastupok in Which PSU can handle my build?
You won't need a 1600w PSU no matter what you throw at that build though. Max I'd recommend is about 850

Dannykins got a reaction from PlayerX in Network driver for windows 7
if they do not work then try the network drivers on this page
http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-2000-Notebook-PC-series/5259209/model/5277692
i know it is not same model as yours but most drivers are same, and these are most recent i can find.
Scroll down a bit and pick "Network drivers" their are 6 drivers in there, start with the first one hopefully that will give you wireless connection,
download all the network drivers, on a USB ot something and also the "Driver Graphics" drivers this one will solve the VGA hopefully.

Dannykins reacted to SkixAces in Afterburner problem
I've build it myself so I know I have to be carefull. Removed some dust from the gpu (wasnt that dirty since I build it only 2 months ago). Put it back in, and no problems yet. I hope it is solved now. Gonna run a game in a minute and see how it reacts to that. Thanks for the great help btw
Also it couldnt have been overheated since I monitored it with afterburner the whole time, and the max temp it hits is 66.

Dannykins reacted to SonoDanshi in Rebuilt PC but results are worse?
If you actually read everything and take it in context, the OP is upset that he upgraded components in his PC and hasn't seen an improvement in games, so @Dannykins quite rightly said that upgrading the graphics would show an improvement in FPS. Regardless of whether the 780 is capable or not, upgrading the graphics will show more of an improvement than upgrading from an old gen i7 to a newer gen i7 when specifically talking about game FPS.
