  1. This is my first build, so I have no idea what feature Nvidia or AMD have. Which one offer what and who is better?
  2. Yeah, i know. But here in Norway there are a good amount of taxes too, especially on new products
  3. I think I am going to get the 970. I don't think i will be gaming on more than one monitor. Maybe two in the future. And since the gtx 970 is a few hundreds cheaper.
  4. Thanks guys, and I apologize for asking this question for the 11th time today. Is there a huge performance difference or are the two cards very simller?
  5. So I ordered a MSI gtx 970 a while ago (in june), but did not have the opportunity to test it until a week ago. The card was DOA, and I got a refund. Which means I have to buy a new GPU. But I dont know what GPU I should buy, especially since the 390 is on the market now. I will be gaming on a single 1080p monitor, and the card should perform for at least 3-4 years. Which one should I buy? I live in Norway, where the GTX 970 and R9 390 costs the same. 6. The GPU was dead on arrival. I sent it back to the store, and got a refund.
  7. Update: I shipped it back, and It was in fact DOA. I will get a full refund. Now the problem is to whether go for the same or a new brand.
  8. Dude, dont be sorry. You helped me alot. Thank you
  9. I don't have another computer and I have recently moved to a new area so I dont know anyone here. I will try to call the place I bought it from on monday. Thank you for helping
  10. Installed all drivers, windows update and gpu drivers. Still no signal while connecting via GPU. i even went into BIOs and changed the settings so it gets the signal to the moniter from PCIe, but it did not work.I dont know if its DOA or not. While the GPU is connected all the fans are running and the light is on. So I dont know how to check.
  11. So I managed to update the BIOs to the latest Version, which is 2803. I then connect the GPU, but nothing happened. Same problem. Should I maybe run a windows update and try to update and install all the drivers? Maybe this can fix the problem.
  12. How do i update or load setup defaults?
  13. I tried that, did not work. It might be that the pc did not even boot into windows, cause when I pressed the power button it powered off immediately.
  14. Wow, I tried booting without the GPU, and I got in to the BIOS. What should i do now?
  15. I will try both those. But it booted once, and at that time it was inside of the case, and I did not change any of the cables after that.
