My friends father was having computer issues at work (He owns his own company) and he relied on the work orders that were on his PC. we were over at my friends dads shop drinking beer and he was going off about this damn computer and how he didnt have time to send it away to get fixed.  i went over there and was like hey mr. i can fix it.   tried turning it on.  nothing..  PSU is prob fried i said.... he said well what can we do.. just sec ill brb.  went and grabbed an ole 600w out of my spare parts room, came back put it in bam computer working..

Dude gave me 700$ for literally 30 minutes of work..

Now for downsides... all my buddys GF's always get me to fix there camera's or retrieve 1000's upon 1000's of pictures off there dead laptops. or recommend good laptops they can buy... and all i get is ur da best!!!

It's high end, for AMD lol. But in the grand scheme of things it's a mid tier card.

so because i dont trust bench marks anymore, i went and did a test run of ultra, with 4xMSAA on.. and i was getting 75-90 FPS never droped below 75.. 

This is why you never go by benchmarks they suck.

Except why the hell would you run MSAA at 1440p. 1440p you dont need AA. i have no problems staying above 60 fps.

This is why poor people shouldn't play on 4k.

im gonna go out on a limb here and say,  do a complete reinstall of windows..  go out and buy a cheap external harddrive and back up what ever you need..  it may....  solve ur issues.

980's Throttle at 85C,    as long as u dont get over 80C at any point your good to go.

ill screenshot mine when i run the physics test just a sec, since we have the same CPU it should serve some purpose

its literally a problem they can't fix.

if its maxing out the vram on a 970, of course u will get frame drops thats the problem with the 970.. anything past 3.5gb and it fks ur shyt up lol

Just dont get any of the liquid metal paste, that stuff is not thermal paste and is really hard to apply and remove and cant be used on aluminum
 

I would still do a fresh install of Windows prior to doing any RMA

Just used @BIOS through the Gigabyte App Center to flash my BIOS... that app is really nice to use... flashed and updated right there in Windows.
Will do a restart to be safe then I will run another benchmark.
