From what I’ve seen porting texts on a modern phone like the 12 pro via Sim isn’t possible. Also, I’ve got like 1.3 gigs in iMessage. Probably too big for a Sim anyway.

Hi everyone, I’m stuck and can’t get my texts from iPhone 12 Pro to copy over to my pixel 7 pro. I’ve used the cable, deregistered my number from iMessage, turned it and FaceTime off, but then my pixel says there’s nothing to copy (see photo). please help. I objectively need a new phone and want it to be the pixel. I really don’t want to return it and spend more/equal money on a worse (features) phone. My texts are backed up to iCloud and I’ll still have my iPad, so technically I wouldn’t lose them, I’d just really like to have everything on my new phone.

I was finally able to get windows going by ditching the salvaged M.2 and loading the OS onto my samsung 970. It previously only had games on it so I didn't care about wiping it. Thanks for you help

I've already done 1, 2, 4, 5 with no improvement. I would try #3 but now I have an even worse problem. I'd tried to boot from my recovery USB and install windows onto an M.2 pulled from another computer (drive was upgraded) but windows told me that the recovery failed. When trying to go into the repair options, it said that had failed too. So I put my original boot drive back in to get into device manager and take a look at the "new" M.2 only to find that now I can't get into bios OR windows. It just seems to sit there, push a signal to the monitor every so often, light up the backlight, "DP" "No Signal" and monitor goes to sleep. I'm going to pick up a new drive after work today and try again with that. I do have a USB to Sata cable to look inside my original/possibly failed boot drive on my laptop if you've got any other tricks up your sleeve.

New symptom found. I told the computer never to go to sleep or turn the screen off last night so I could hopefully finish making recovery media. It did and the desktop was usable this morning, though still with the stutter nonsense. For "fun" I power cycled my monitor. Backlight only, couldn't get desktop to display. So any time the monitor goes dark, I need to reboot...

My computer is doing all sorts of weird things, so I started to make a recovery USB. After a few minutes, the screen went black and I cannot get the desktop to show. Windows key, ctrl alt del, power cycle the monitor, re plug the DP cable, nothing. The backlight is on, the computer is on, but I cannot get the desktop to show. I'm hesitant to pull the plug on the tower because I was in the middle of making a recovery USB. After a while longer, the monitor itself will say "no signal" and go into power saving mode. Behavior prior to this was that the system would momentarily freeze up for no reason. Streaming video would freeze, audio kept going, then it would basically fast forward the video to "catch up." Switching between chrome tabs seemed to set it off. I would also notice the freezing/stuttering while dragging windows around the desktop. Also, on startup, it doesn't show the mobo screen, just goes straight to windows login. I can get into bios by mashing DEL, but the traditional mobo/bios screen never appears. 5600x x570 F37 bios 4080 w/latest nvidia drivers FWIW Boot drive is probably 10 years old (ssd) Please help

Now it's doing it again. On my laptop I've tried chrome, edge, even on my phone using DuckDuckGo app. All yield the same message with Reference #18.dc272417.1679232077.13d8b643. Please advise. The fact that this is happening across multiple browsers and devices is really weird. All connected to my home wifi. I'm not using a VPN, I'm not using a proxy.

Hello community, At home we have 200mbps service from Comcast. On Steam and what not, I can download 15-25MB/s BUT doing so causes any other online activity on my desktop to slow to a crawl. Even trying to pull up this forum while downloading something on steam, the browser won't load the webpage. Once I pause Steam, browser is back to being fast. On a wired connection, I did not have this problem but I had to move my computer and a wired connection is no longer possible. We have a decent Wifi 5 router (gigabit ethernet, not that that matters in this case) and I have a Asus PCE-AC56 AC card in my desktop. What can be done (besides upping the service speed) to get my desktop to multitask i.e. be able to quickly browse the internet, watch Youtube, while downloading? Thank you

Hello everyone, I recently moved my desktop from one room to another. Previously I was able to hardwire it and got 350-400 mbps down on Speakeasy Speed test. In my new spot, I'm having to go wireless. I have a strong 5ghz connection with an Asus AC56 ax card, an steam can download in the low 20's mb/s BUT, if I try to download on steam and stream video (youtube, peacock etc,) the video buffers endlessly. Speakeasy wireless speeds seem to vary but it goes between 175-350 depending on who is doing what in the house. Even regular web browsing is REALLY slow while downloading stuff on steam. Any tips outside of upgrading everything to wifi 6 or 6e? PS: the antenna are on the card, I can't find the satellite connector to move the antenna away from the tower. As the crow flies, I'm maybe 30 feet from the router, just sheetrock and wood in between

For anyone who comes across this in the future, I found a good deal on a Samsung 970 Evo Plus, moved CP2077 onto it and everything seems to be fine. Running much better. CPU still gets to 80%+ is really crowded areas (crowd density setting high). We'll see what happens with zen 4 before I make any changes to the CPU

Hello everyone, After switching from an Aorus Master 3080 1.0 to an FTW3 Ultra 3080 (450w bios), I've noticed some horrid stuttering and weird CPU usage behavior in CP2077. At first, all my settings were maxed (except I used High instead of Psycho where applicable) with Balanced DLSS. But the problem persists all the way to Low Crowd density, RT disabled and balanced DLSS. I also am NOT using HDD mode because the game is installed on an SSD. When I'm just walking around, or I'm indoors, it's ok. But when I get on a motorcycle and ride around the city, it turns into a stuttery mess. When off the bike, my cpu seems to bounce from like 35%, 65% and 95%, then start the cycle over, kind of in that order. Riding the bike, CPU is 70%+, spikes higher when it stutters and GPU usage drops. The game is currently installed on an OCZ Trion 100 ssd and I've been thinking about getting a 970 Evo Plus (cause it's a million times faster) to see if that solves my problem. Maybe it was stuttering on the Aorus master too but I didn't notice somehow? That was a 320w card, so the FTW pulling up to 450 is likely going to perform better. Do you think it's the CPU, or is my relatively dated SSD, the more likely culprit? Like, it can't load fast enough when riding the motorcycle around Night City? PS: my case airflow sucks so I leave the side panel off to keep the temps down. I just picked up a 3090 ti FE and am getting 60-70% GPU utilization in RDR2 and 70-80% cpu usage. Pretty much all settings maxed, balanced DLSS, no resizable bar. Switch over to Cyberpunk 2077 and usage is normal. 3440x1440p, 32g ram and a 5600x, x570 board. FWIW, RDR2 is on an HDD and CP2077 is on an SSD. Thoughts on why RDR2 isn't @ 100% gpu?

Ok. I do have a bios switch on the card so if something goes wrong I can just flip to the other bios

I have a 3080 aorus master 1.0 with the F4 bios. I can only get 320-340 watts out of it and the power slider in MSI afterburner only goes up to 100%. In regards to OC-ing, I'm currently hitting power limits and want to increase the power. So I tried to install the Aorus xtreme 1.0 F3 bios, which, according to the description, ups the TDP to 450 watts. However, when I follow the instructions from the link bellow to update my bios, GPU-Z tells me I'm still on my old F4 bios. Yes but cpu and GPU are both water cooled and draw fresh air from the front and back panels so they aren’t recycling hot air in the chassis

Cpu is in the low 70s during Cinebench. GPU in the 50s gaming (both ar OC’d)

Maybe this is a dumb question. I have an h100iv2 for my cpu on the front panel and an evga 980ti hybrid gpu, rad on the rear panel. Both are set to intake with a single exhaust fan on the top. With these components both drawing fresh air rather than relying on case flow/fans, does my case really matter? Currently have an s340 case and ideally will be upgrading to an evga 3080 20gig hybrid when it is released

Hello everyone, I've had a reoccurring issue with my desktop. It will not connect to my home wifi even though all of my other devices are on the network. After trying to connect, windows simply tells me "can't connect to network" However, if I set up a hotspot on my cell phone the desktop connects just fine Sometimes running the troubleshooter fixes it and connects to the network, sometimes I can't connect for days after several reboots. Happened again today and I'm fed up. Please help Running the latest version of Windows 10 and as far as I know the latest drivers for the Asus PCE AC56. I had the same problem when I first built the computer and was using a USB wireless adapter.

Second also: I do have a portable headphone amp and DAC so high impedance isn't a concern Main uses are gaming, music, steaming movies and audiobooks.
