It's all kinda of sad. It was one of the best way to keep up with the tech industry while being rather amusing albeit a bit corney.

It could be that they weren't receiving their pay and the new team is also getting less but are accepting it.

SukaroBlue got a reaction from lrosengaard in [HELP] A well thought out build with room for expansion and possibly Hackintosh
Just note finding a motherboard that supports DDR3 with that CPU may be a bit difficult as most 1151 motherboards only support DDR4.

and i just saw that you posted what motherboard you're using and you definitely have do get DDR4 ram if you're getting that board.

i have a old atom netbook with 1gb of ram and lubuntu run extremely well. Considering how my net book is weaker than what your using i think it should work fine.

SukaroBlue got a reaction from Pendragon in Can you Upgrade a Lenovo y700?
that link is not to the Lenovo y700 that link is to the Inspiron 7559 which funnily enough is what i have. But any new laptop will only allow the ram and storage drives to be upgraded. So if you are talking about ram and storage. If you're talking about CPU and GPU no those can not be upgraded.

SukaroBlue got a reaction from Matt_98 in CPU Upgrade for laptop
Socket P is an up-gradable laptop socket but make sure what ever CPU you get it's the same TDP or lower else you'll stress your battery and cooling.

SukaroBlue got a reaction from Tech_Dreamer in What Tech Advice would You give Yourself if you could travel 3-5 years back in time?
Your brother is an idiot about computers don't let him convince mom to buy us 2 e machines saying they are super up-gradable when in fact the one you get has a shitty e series cpu that's not up-gradable. Get an old core 2 computer instead they are more powerful cheaper and faster.
