not bad at all, these workstations were given big psu's so the could run high end video cards for cad and the like, but the second cpu wont help much in game(unless you turn of HT) since games won't use 16 threads

i understand, i just like to put it out there, most people either think a 5 year old computer can't run new games(intel, if your on that old of a amd good luck) or has just never thought of it before, while i understand the feeling of building one with new high end parts it's not really needed for games at the moment(gpu's don't last as long though and prices don't change enough to make them a good deal used online, find a good deal on craigslist and maybe you have something, ebay not so much),

till pcie 4.0, breaks the over 10 year compatibility we've had for gpu's, man i hope there are 3.0 to 4.0 pcie risers

also since these are oem units they come with win 7 keys either on the case or at least in the slick of the bios, and it's not hard to call up Microsoft for a free upgrade to 10 by saying it's your mom or grandmas computer and they use assistive tech like voice over because they are losing there sight, done this for 3 friends and it's work ever time so far, till they stop doing upgrades for people with disability's

Don't buy a last gen video card. Get a current gen Polaris or pascal car, like an rx480 or a gtx1070.

Yes, you will be getting a performance boost, just not very much of one. The only games you have that are CPU bound are minecraft, fallout and skyrim and these will still work fine with a 3960X.

you have a few options, one is a pcie wifi card, there are version with 5ghz such as

you can also go for a powerline adapter, the plus side with this is you will get much lower latency with it, but it doesn't always work with the wiring in peoples houses, it works best if both outlets will be on the same circuit.

im in the us and am haveing trouble finding link to uk adapters so here's a article

also you can just go for a wifi extender(these usually have Ethernet ports on them) you should be able to find one for fairly cheap where you live

yeah 2011 is expensive and it wouldn't even be on here if it wasn't for the e5-2670,  motherboard of any type for 2011 R cost a ton, 120-150 for ome/workstation and 250-500 for gaming(x79)

Technically nothing in the computer industry is future proof.. as it is old the minute you buy it. But to answer your question in short, no.

DDR4 is the same price as DDR3 in most retailers and it's much faster (in applications which actually make good use of it). On your daily tasks, you won't notice any difference.

    Hope this helps.

yeah i agree with the possible the fact they may be unreliable(mainly coz of the fact it's in raid0), but i just liked the idea of a a upgradeable sdd that only takes up a single sata port, also they have 10 card versions now http://www.amazon.com/Micro-Memory-Card-Adapter-Converter/dp/B01AHRB23E/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1454707489&sr=8-4&keywords=sata+micro+sd and 128GB cards are selling for 35$ US so the price is right up there with best bang for your buck SSD at 27cents a Gb, checked via pcpartpicker

also if anyone cares heres the 10 micro sd to sata card on Amazon  http://www.amazon.com/Micro-Memory-Card-Adapter-Converter/dp/B01AHRB23E/ref=sr_1_10?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1454702778&sr=1-10&keywords=micro+sd+to+sata
