Tithonius got a reaction from Cinnaban in Best Coolant for PC?
Ok, so i am looking for the first coolant to put in my custom loop. I am going to be using red tubing so i think that a clear fluid would be best.

I would run a red dyed fluid but i don't want to be dealing with the issue of the dye separating and gumming things up.

The question i have is which fluid is best to use? i don't want to just use distilled water because i like all of the features that comes with anti-biological agents and other features that come with the fluid. So anyone have recommendations of what fluid to use? if i end up going with what i found, i think that i will end up ordering the EK-Ecoolant EVO Clear coolant, found here: http://goo.gl/BwJDrP

Anyone got some guidance or a recommendation?

If snapping doesn't work manually, use Windows Key + left/right arrow to force it to snap to the sides.
If the program doesn't have a save window location coded in it, you would need some programming involved.
You can put a shortcut to chrome in the Startup menu folder so it launches on boot.

haha shipping from Germany would be quite expensive unfortunately, but thanks for the interest!

    Umm why?

Thanks! and yeah, i hope it doesn't come across as begging. I just wanna put together a collection of processors from the LTT community, to see what we can achieve as a community, and to put all of our resources together! and yes, I will "hopefully" be getting some boards and memory and stuff to put together a little test bench for these processors, but as of right now, i'm just waiting for the money side of things. I want to buy new parts for everything, that way i can get the most accurate overclock possible. But it is something i'm interested in for sure!

    It does NOTHING.
Useless people trying to get attention by changing their profile pictures.

If you actually care about what is happening over there then do something to make a change, not add some colours because you want to fit with the majority like a herd of sheep.

I have an old Willamette Pentium 4 1.6GHz but it is perfectly working and still sitting in its original Gigabyte Lenovo OEM mobo and this combo, given a stick of DDR SDRAM, can still boot into a 32-bit version of Linux.
And I also got a working Athlon 64 3000+ (the first amd64 cpu ever) on the MSI MoBo. The MoBo is problematic but it was running 64-bit Linux without hiccup.
And I am considering getting a pair of E5-2643v2 for my power workstation and retire the pair of E5-2620v2 currently in there.

I wonder if you can still boot Linux off this and benchmark it? CF cards can make quick and dirty IDE SSDs to make things faster.

If you recided to start collecting MoBo's, make sure you can try to search your collection of CPUs for ones that will work on it, put them together and benchmark it.

By the way, if possible, get two Celeron 300A and ABIT BP6 MoBo, OC both CPU up to 450MHz, and benchmark this Celeron Overclocked SMP Miracle.

Update #8 Just went live! I'm so so ready to get back into this project and to really start to focus on what i can find and get ahold of for the project. I have alot of really interesting prospects, and am really looking forward to the next few weeks, as i think they are going to be very exciting!

Ok, so for a long time i have been collecting CPUs. The goal is that I want to be able to try to get my collection as complete as it can be. Anything from an old Windows 95 to a dead CPU out of your last Windows 8 machine, I want to collect them all!

    What I'm Looking For:
Any CPU! I don't really care if the CPU works or not. If it has bent pins, or is scratched or beat up, i just want to collect as many as i can! So if you have a dead or otherwise useless and worthless CPU i would love it if you would consider sending it my way! Anything from any processor family is appreciated, got an old Windows 95 or XP machine your getting rid of? Pull the CPU out and send it my way! Got a damaged or dead CPU that you cant RMA and your just gonna throw out? Send it my way! Any and all CPUs are appreciated.

    Whats in it for you?
Every CPU I get is credited to the original owner/sender. Every CPU is displayed along with other CPUs within the same family and manufacturer. I plan to make small engraved nameplates to go with every CPU that will have what each CPU is, the name of the sender, as well as a date. These CPUs will then be displayed in a large frame in my house.

    How to Get it Here:
If you are interested and you want to go ahead and send it my way, its not very expensive to do so! most CPUs are small enough and light enough that you can send them in a regular envelope! It is advised tho to wrap the CPU in something the will protect the envelop so that the sharp CPU edges wont rip or tear in shipping. PM me for more details. I am willing to pay for shipping, and if you are interested we will discuss more about that when we move ahead with the process!

    Thanks!
WOW, the post just got its "hot" status. Thanks so much guys, it really does mean lot. The support is amazing, and the amount of CPUs that I've managed to collect has been amazing. Here is to much more to come! Thanks again!

Is this iOS or android (android user here)? I'd suggest trying to delete all cache files for the app, then uninstall the app, then do a full shut down/start up, and then reinstall to see what happens. It could be that there was an error when installing or updating the app and something was overwritten. If that doesn't work then I'd suggest trying to contact the devs of tinder to see if there are any known problems with the app for your device. hope this helps.

    Update #4

Hey guys, It's been a while since I've done an update! I've recently had to move to the next town over, and ive also had some other IRL stuff getting in the way. But i'm back now and I have exciting news!

The first big, and really late thanks of the day goes out to @Br3tt96. He sent a nice Athlon X2 QL-62 over a few months ago, and I am just now getting this update written. (sorry about that ) Anyway, The envelope wasn't handled very well and it did come kind of beat up, but overall is still in nice condition, and i'm super excited to add it to the collection!

Ok, so the next CPU I got when I was over at a friends house recently and while I was working out in their shop. I noticed an OLD computer in the upper loft. After we were done for the day I asked if I could tear it down, and tear it apart to see what all was inside. To my amazement it was still all there, it was all still intact. This means that I managed to get my hands on a really nice CPU from the machine. I managed to get my hands on a super old Intel Pentium III (not sure if that's actually what its called ) I am super excited for this find, and Its cool to be able to finally have my hands on one of these older processors.

And finally, the third CPU I managed to get is an Athlon II. This CPU came out of a rig that my buddy has had for a long time that finally died. He is now looking to get a new computer, so I managed to snatch up his old one.  Not too much to the story of this one, but i'm still excited to see the collection growing!

Very soon I will start to do the final mounting of these processors. I have nameplates ready to go, and I also have all of the other mounting hardware that I will need! More exciting pictures to come!

Now remember! I am still SUPER interested to see what you guys have! I am still collecting, and can use all the help i can get! This all isnt possible without you guys!
