  1. Hey guys. I have an awesome computer with awesome parts. My case is an Obsidian 650D from Corsair. Recently I bought a second GTX 680 from Gainward. (those are usually cheap). With my motherboard (ASUS P9X79 LE) I can fit both. I have to use a wireless network card in order to get internet. But with that in, I cannot fit both GC. I can put it in the PCIe 8x slot, but then it will interfere with my PSU(RM1000). The problem was basically that the GC was not gonna fit because both cards uses 3 slots. The coolers are aftermarket. But if i purchase the Fractal Design Define XL R2 Black Pearl, will my case make the gap between the psu and the MB big enough for it to fit then? I don't want to change any cooler or remove the wireless network card. The card is btw PCIe. It can also go in those small once.
  2. Thanks for response! I use Evga Precision X for overclocking. Both in msi afterburner and X, I am able to go to 176% powerdraw. I don't use sync, but may use that. Gonna mabye upgrade to a Corsair RM1000W Thanks everyone!
  3. Hello every one. Recently I bought a second 680 for my system. Them both are from Gainward, but the new one have a different cooler style(Phantom). My old one was just a regular "blower style" cooler(I have a custom cooler on this one). I know that just the GPU has to be the same, for sli, but just wanted to address that. I have a 750W bronze psu, so that should be no problem. When I have sli activated they roll just fine, and give me okay FPS, about 60 at Assassins Creed 4. When I start overclocking them, they just crashes. They only chrash when the stress gets too high (Benchmark, AC4 etc.). I have tried to just oc one at the time, but that doesn't matter. I also have tried to just use one of them. Then there is no problem. May this be that my psu is to week? I might reinstall windows 8.1 to see if that makes any difference, but that is the last thing I want to do. One more thing. The one I had from earlier, I was able to set power target to 176%. But the new one just goes to 150%. I know that they don't need to be at same clock speed, and will not be.
  4. For me, headphones, mices and mics are always a good alternative. Unless you are good with saving up money, you should put it in something. Like purchase something. And I bet your mum wants to give you a thing! Not just money. And if you play overwhelming happy, she will feel good and do it later aswell.
  5. Okay guys. So the problem was one of the 4 ram bricks. I started it up, and just added one after one, and the last one was the broken one. The pc now works fine. Thank you guys SOO insanely much for your extremely good help!
  6. I will. But can I do it in safe mode? Cause I cant do it with normal mode..
  7. I have done some backups, of important stuff to one of my other hard drives. Is a clean install of Windows a possible choice? Thanks to everyone for replying so far!
  8. Yea, but removed the cpu over clock. but my GTX 680 is still running the over clock. I have a i7 3820. I have heard that it isn´t smart to over clock? Is that true? If it is, it should not be possible so.. yea..
  9. My pc is like 6 months old or less. And I have never had problems with it before. Just happened randomly. I really don´t think it is the problem..
  10. My pc freezes after 5 seconds to 2 minutes, after startup. This happens every time, and is really anoying. I can move my mouse, but it also freezes after a while. The sound freezes, like makes one constant hung up sound. It is impossible to turn the machine off. When I restart it, I can choose between 4 modes, and 3 of those are safe mode. I don´t get any "repair choice". Please help me. Is it my SSD that is broken, or do I just simply have to reinstall Windows 7 to it? I bet there is a bad driver, but i can´t fix that. Thanks.
