  4. Mine is on a wooden shelf in an enclosed wiring cupboard. You could always keep it on a glass/wooden chopping board or something similar if your carpet is super thick.
  5. The JAVA_HOME variable should point to the Java installation directory. so in your case it will be: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_31
  6. I use a 304 for my TV server. I have had no problems with heat building up inside the case. There are 4 mechanical drives and 2 SSDs, a 3570k with the stock heatsink using the out of box fans on the slowest settings. It transcodes and streams video 24/7. acpitz-virtual-0Adapter: Virtual devicetemp1: +27.8°C (crit = +106.0°C)temp2: +29.8°C (crit = +106.0°C)coretemp-isa-0000Adapter: ISA adapterPhysical id 0: +64.0°C (high = +85.0°C, crit = +105.0°C)Core 0: +58.0°C (high = +85.0°C, crit = +105.0°C)Core 1: +64.0°C (high = +85.0°C, crit = +105.0°C)Core 2: +64.0°C (high = +85.0°C, crit = +105.0°C)Core 3: +52.0°C (high = +85.0°C, crit = +105.0°C)
  7. They run Debian and are hosted in France. PM me a zip of the files and I will upload them and give you links.

  9. Any local stockbroker would be able to do that for you. They charge £15 - £20 per trade here as commision. One thing to consider is that you are losing 10% each year that it is in cash or in a low interest savings account.
  10. Gold or oil (more risky) will more than likely give a better return if you can get it for spot price. The current low oil price is motivated by events surrouding Russia. It will no doubt go back up to the 'normal' price after a while.
  11. Literally every modern datacenter uses this configuration (on a larger scale, obviously). Ofcourse its possible.
  12. There are already laws covering the use of encryption in the UK and US.
  13. ? You will be forced to activate it after 30 or 90 days It will keep shutting down until you activate. Just like every version of Windos since XP
  14. What is the point? There are so many games that are more enjoyable, why waste time talking about ones that are awful?
  15. I use C# daily at work and have no problems with it, i just bought it to go over stuff i may have forgotten.
  16. It was from Amazon SarL and I have Amazon prime.
  17. I got the difference refunded Its more annoying they make it more obvious than it actually happening I use amazon maybe once or twice per week, and have a prime membership. Its clearly a dynamic pricing thing thats to blame here.
  18. A 25% increase in price overnight, happens to be the day after I purchase the book. Looks like their dynamic pricing algorithms are at work.
  19. Why not? You can still make calls and use your debit card, even in the unlikely event you cant find a shop that does cash top ups.
  20. They will likely all work in other countries. Any major network certainly will. You can top up over the phone or at ATMs usually, or using a magnetic card at a shop. You can usually top up over the phone using a debit card, or using the prepay card at a shop.
