Well your build can handle it for starters. I love my ROG Dominator 144hz 1440p but I only hear praises about ultrawides on the forum.

To save your warranty I would recommend buying PSU cable extensions so you keep the warranty also you can make the cables look nicer.

1. Did you see detailed pictures of the motherboard before buying it? Did those pictures include a close up of the motherboard socket and all pins, verifying they were, indeed, intact before shipping?
 
2. If so, how did you buy this motherboard? Ebay? Craigslist? Kijiji? LTT Classifieds? Some forum hardware swap?
 
3. Assuming it was Ebay, simply ask the seller to send you either a full refund, including shipping (plus shipping the motherboard back to him), or file a case with Ebay, and they will quickly sort it out and force a refund.
 
4. Assuming it wasn't with Ebay - was the package and shipment insured? (Eg: By UPS or USPS) If so, file a claim with the courier.
 
5. If possible, leave bad feedback where appropriate for the seller (Eg: Heatwave, Ebay, forums, etc).

What CPU do you have? what games are you gonna play? and what res are you gonna play at?

Figured it's about time I join the club.
I've had this guy since July of 2015, it's a WASD v2 barebones with doubleshot PBT blanks on top of MX Cherry Blues.
10 keyless, just the right size for me.
I've also got a WASD Code with MX Cherry Clears, a Logitech G910 Orion Spark with Roamer G's, and a Corsair K65 old school with MX Cherry Reds, but it's in UK layout and I like US/ISO layout.

What do you all think?

I had said caselabs in that post, but that isn't a big deal. Yes InWin can make some cool looking cases, but they also make cases like below or ones that are insanely priced for their crazy designs haha. Also the price difference there is $50 but thats not a big deal just saying. Now, Fractal has yet to come out with a case that has a tempered glass side panel so that is obviously a bump against them and it's not a company I am taking much from aesthetically into this design and my company so no worried there. There are things from InWin's designs that I have looked at and am considering, but not much tbh. Thanks for contributing.

You see the thing about Fractal Design is that their cases have no soul or characteristics. They sell because on paper they offer some of the best technical features in the price bracket their cases are competing in but in terms of wow factor
