  1. Interesting. Good to know. Thanks again!
  2. THIS FIXED IT! THANKS YOU SO MUCH! If I may ask, do you know how this occurred/how to avoid it in the future? THANK YOU SO MUCH!
  3. Basically the title. Been using DisplayPort since I got this new monitor. Yesterday I woke my computer from sleep, and the display was at as wonky resolution so I hit "Restart" from within the Windows 10 lockscreen. After that, it wouldn't turn on - I'd get just a "No Signal" thing on the monitor. It took some fiddling, but I finally got it working via an HDMI cable. When I plug in the DisplayPort cable into the same monitor the HDMI is currently plugged into(ASUS MG248Q - 1080p 144hz), windows detects it as an 800x600 monitor. Switching to the DisplayPort input on the monitor just yields a "No Signal" kind of thing. I don't have another monitor, cable, or graphics card to test this out with. This is my first 1080p monitor, my first monitor with HDMI, let alone with DP. Got it on Black Friday, started using it Christmas day. Graphics card is an R9 380, Sapphire Nitro variant. Prior to using this monitor, I was using an HDMI to DVI adapter for my old monitor from 2008. Currently using the DisplayPort cable that came with this monitor. Already tried reinstalling my current drivers and installing the latest ones - same results on both. So, what do you guys think is the problem? Dead card? Broken Cable? Broken Monitor? Thanks!
  4. Title. Upgraded to the latest AMD Crimson drivers today to get Radeon ReLive, which is actually great. Problem is, after updating, I have to run CS:GO in borderless fullscreen to avoid flickering. Playing in fullscreen gives occasional flickering. It seems to be a counter-strike specific issue, as it doesn't happen in Rocket League or Rainbow Six Siege when playing in fullscreen. I updated from Radeon Settings version 16.6 to the latest, 16.12.2. Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it? Thanks!
  5. Seemingly after my computer updated to the Anniversary Update on its old accord last week, I noticed that I had way less space on my SSD. I discovered that system.old is using up a ton of disk space. Thing is, I've never had any previous version of Windows on this SSD. So, I guess stuff was put into that folder when I updated to the Anniversary update? Anyhow, when I go to delete it using the disk cleanup, it warns me that (obviously) if I delete this "previous Windows installation," I will no longer be able to "restore the machine back to the previous version of Windows." Now, my question is: given that I've never had a previous version of Windows on this SSD, I assume that it's talking about Windows 10 sans-anniversary update, correct? If I delete this, will I still have any system restore points, or will deleting this wipe all of those out? Thanks guys!
  6. My friend is looking into getting the upcoming Razer Blade 2016, however, he wants more than 512GB of storage. My question is this: Is the storage used in the Blade M.2 or SATA? I've seen this YouTube video and it appears to come with an M.2 SSD, so the only options to upgrade it are(presumably) replacing it, however, I swear I saw somewhere that they had mSATA drives, so I have no clue what is going on. After typing all of this I realized that the Blade 2016 isn't out yet, however, do you guys know anything about the storage/possible upgrades for it on the older models of the Blade? Thanks!
  7. Yeah, they want everyone to use their anti-consumerist purchasing system. I can't just buy an older copy of the software anymore that's newer than what I have, I have to subscribe to their crap. I'm just a hobbyist, I can't justify spending that much money. I got CS6 on Ebay for cheap last year, and CS6 is the newest version I'll ever be able to do that for, and they decided to be incredibly stupid and to not enable OpenCL on Windows machines on that version for no legitimate reason. Thanks for being stupid, Adobe.
  8. Here's the thing, though, I just got the Adobe CS6 Proudction Premium on Ebay last year. Mostly for Photoshop and AE, but I've since transitioned to using it for editing in Premiere as well. I just got this gfx card a little over a month ago, mostly for gaming, but I figured it would at least do SOMETHING in the professional-grade software made by a high-end company. But, no, apparently that's too much to ask. Thanks for sucking, Adobe, keep on keeping on. *sigh*
  9. Well, that sucks. I guess I have another reason to dislike Adobe, other than their anti-consumerist pricing systems. Seriously, though? That's ridiculous. Why, Adobe? Why? Why are you so stupid? Thanks for finding that, I suppose.
  10. 64 bit is what I installed. When I search for Photoshop, I see a 64-bit option, however, there's only one option for Premiere and it doesn't seem to specify which it is. Also, I'm adding it to the OpenCL list as well, however, that isn't working either. Something else I just tried is a computer restart, but nope. Still doesn't work.
  11. As linked in my original post, I used GPU-Z, although I suppose I could try that.
  12. No updates are available. Also, here is an image of what my project settings look like.
  13. Yes, I added the exact same lines to the OpenCL list, but no dice. From what I can tell, there is no simply "enabling" it in the preferences.
  14. I've been googling it all afternoon, thanks. That's why I decided to post here. Also, it clearly states that article is ONLY FOR NVIDIA CARDS.
