  1. All the ATM's when I traveled there last year were fine, and if you're traveling from the US, thats pretty much what all banks charge. Yeah its a bit silly that they take 3$ a transaction. But I don't know anyone who travels to other countries that considers that a deal breaker for the convenience of having another countries currency.
  2. I'd personally recommend testout.com I used it to get my Net+.(And know about 6 people from highschool that got their A+ using it.) About 3 years ago, not exactly the most thrilling courses. But I passed the test by a fair margin. I'd also recommend http://www.professormesser.com/, never used his website but he has a youtube series.
  3. Being a stranger from another land (i.e. Arizona) I'd be interested in going out someplace with people from LTX, and EXP looks pretty neat. Though I'd most likely not be able to make it till later that night.
  4. Lets go through this. 1. Their will always be bottlenecks, weather it be software or hardware. 2. Vague questions like "Can I play DSR 4k or 2k." Will never get good answers. Its better to be specific and ask more direct questions like. "Can I play DSR 4k in CS:GO with a gtx1080ti and i7-7700k on a 1080p monitor at a stable 144fps. etc. "Can I play" alone is subjective enough that you should probably try and think of more specific questions. Can it run X(ie, Crysis 3, CS:GO, Witcher 3) at XXX (60, 100,144) Fps at X (low, med, high, ultra, max) settings on X hardware. Vague questions in general are bad if you can't accept that their will be outliers that you will almost certainly run into that cause the answer you get to be wrong. The more specific you can get the better answers you will receive, and with all computer based equipment your experience will vary. 3 If you don't have a Free Sync or G-Sync monitor you will end up choosing between some degree of screen tearing or input lag. You still do to some degree even with those monitors. Again do to hardware and software latencies. 4. Some games have settings that will cripple the strongest of video cards of their time. IE Ubersampling, hairworks etc. Their is nothing standard consumers can do besides wait for the next gen of hardware to bring better performance. Imo, the most sensible thing is just buy what you can afford. As the only other option is wait for new tech. Which means new games will come out.... which means they can push the boundary of current tech. So you have to wait for new tech again and you get stuck waiting forever. Tomorrows tech, will almost always be, faster, better, cheaper.
  5. If you are already monitoring your GPU. I'd take a look and see if it has a tab that shows Vram. I've seen some pretty big fps drops if it is running near full, and some 760s only has 2GB of vram. Its possible that you are pushing that near full and suddenly adding new textures are causing it to dump old info and load new causing a dip.
  6. If you're certain you have set everything back to stock, and have disabled xmp profiles. I'd assume you probably have a hard drive issue. However I wouldn't like how it has frozen while in the BIOS. The two things I'd do is remove all but 1 stick of ram and swap through them and see if any changes to your boot order happen. After I'd pull the hard drive plug it into another machine and run a scan on it to see if throws any errors. I'm slightly confused what OS you are running. I'm not super familiar with Ubuntu, but I assume you are running some version of it since the message you are getting is "loading GRUB please wait 5 seconds". I feel like I've seen that error mostly on Linux machines. But you say you booted into windows a couple of times. Do you have a 2nd drive that after messing with settings that your pc is trying to boot into? Edit: Sorry its early, Ubuntu is simply the one I've seen Grub errors on the most.
  7. As a man with a large head, I would highly recommend k7xx if you are looking for a open back headphone. I recently upgraded to the monoprice m1060 and its definitely a downgrade in comfort for someone with a large head. Though still pretty good.
  8. @CRA5HMAN Yeah it seems like this correct. It might still be something else with my system, but I took it to a buddies with a 980ti and it automatically popup with 144hz option and OC to 165 just fine. Guess I'll be looking at getting a 10XX once the stock stables out. Till then I'll survive on 120. Thanks.
  9. Sadly this doesn't seem to be the problem as ULMB is off. So far my continued efforts have revealed nothing. I'm going to try re installing the drivers, but for some reason I doubt that will be the fix. If anyone has any insight or had similar issues feel free to throw up how you fixed it.
  10. Heyo everyone, maybe someone can help me with my problem I just bought a new HB271HU. I went into the nvidia control panel and the highest option I had was 120hz. Is it because GTX 770's DP 1.2 doesn't support above that or am I missing something? Windows 10 GTX 7704 gb x2 in SLI Acer XB271HU
  11. If you are looking for New, then nothing really fits that. The lowest I would possibly recommend start at about 850 and thats for a 950m. You're best bet is to look for a good refurbished deal. Besides that what you want probably doesn't exist at that price point. Especially if you are looking to "Max" games or even run "High" on graphically intense games.
  12. I too didn't get a verification email... Hopefully they will post the usernames or something of the semifinalists so that they can contact them during the 7 day period.

  14. They have said on twitter no to shorter (38etc.) second videos. They seem very much set on 30 or less, I highly recommend choosing the other two as your inspiration (They don't seem to have a time limit.) Or make a 30 or less Speed version.
  15. I'd recommend removing said outro then. They seem pretty set on 30 sec mark, at least according to twitter.
