Your system memory (in this case, DDR3) has no relation whatsoever to your dedicated GPU.
 
You can use any GPU with your system as long as you have a PCIe X16 slot, a decent power supply and a case that supports your GPU's size.

Definitely a solid CPU, still holding on to my 3770K after about three years, definitely not feeling the urge to upgrade

Probably one of the cleanest ITX builds I've seen in a while, good stuff man!

There was a point in time where I believed RAM was EVERYTHING
More RAM = ability to run any application/game etc

I went with the EVGA 970 SSC, the cooler is pretty damn good, and so are the clocks...don't even need to OC it

Windows 7 is really the new XP...just gonna keep it for the next ten years or so

Used to be of benefit a couple years ago when I helped my parents with sound production, newer integrated sound processors have improved dramatically, so yeah....more or less useless unless seeking out of box compatibility with things like hackintosh etc

I quite liked the 2010 Mac Pro (Desktop)
Pretty sleek, dad bought it for his audio production, took it from him when he upgraded and used the case

I keep my main PC on 24/7
And my server PC has been on for around 1 year straight (Yes, it has a battery backup surge protector so when electricity goes it stays on)
 
It's fine if you know what you're doing (Monitoring temps etc)

It isn't that bad....it's just overhyped because people don't seem to understand that the power per core differs from CPU to CPU, I've had people tell me that their FX 8350 is faster than my 3770K because it has 8 cores

No real compromises at all, I use Photoshop, C4D, AfterFX, Final Cut Pro (System is a hackintosh) just to name a few
Yet I'm still able to run high end games on their respective maximum settings @ 1080P

Haha go for it! I'm fed up with people who always assume anything is just fine. For most gaming, 3.3-3.5GHz would definitely be fine on an i7, but it doesn't mean it's the best thing in the world for a user trying to say... stream on that same machine. Especially witha  47W TDP lock, etc etc.
