  3. I collided with a German foreign exchange student during track practice while playing sharks and minnows. Split open her forehead, she split open the area around my right eye. We both got concussions. No joke lmao.
  4. Did you guys ever consider the possibility that he could be that very guy on that forum; you just did a backwards search on the pics? edit: nevermind forum guy is NYC; OP is in OC?
  5. Gaming: Desktop Anything else: Laptop I only have a laptop anyway and I do my gaming on it; it does just fine for Diablo and Starcraft.. laptops all the way
  6. http://www.gamestop.com/browse?nav=16k-3-starcraft,28zu0all half off atm. more off the top of my head that i played: Murdered: Soul Suspect Hitman: Absolution Dead Island (personal favorite) Borderlands Bulletstorm Call of Juarez Outlast
  7. Sleeping Dogs. Amazing game; plot is like straight out of a good movie. Why not expand your horizons and try different types of games? Your taste may change.. Maybe Starcraft II, Diablo 3? If you don't like playing online and prefer to play by yourself those can also suffice via campaign etc.
  8. I have reds and I love it. I don't see why I should pay $50 or so more just for some colors that I won't really notice while typing.
  9. Wow and I ordered mine a little while back..
  10. That motherboard is very common and one of the best budget options for FX processors via 6300, 8320, 8350.. etc; I've had it myself paired with a 8320. Also, in that bundle w/ the 8350 there isn't even a GPU, so also buying an aftermarket cooler with the GPU wouldn't be a problem as one could easily snatch something like a CM Hyper 212 Evo. In your build your mobo supports ram speeds up to 1600 so the speeds would be downclocked, plus dual channel would be much wiser than a single stick in a budget build. Prices changed, so I have also swapped some parts pertaining to prices at this current moment I've implemented my opinion on what should be used: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-4440 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor ($173.95 @ SuperBiiz) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($49.98 @ Newegg) Memory: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($56.99 @ Adorama) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($48.49 @ OutletPC) Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 280 3GB DUAL-X Video Card ($164.99 @ Newegg) Case: NZXT Source 210 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case ($31.98 @ Newegg) Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply ($29.99 @ NCIX US) Total: $556.37 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2015-04-01 18:00 EDT-0400
  11. An AMD FX-6300 will do just fine and it's a great budget cpu. Unless you're doing heavy photo/video editing I don't see why you'd go with anything other than that. Also depends on what games you're looking to play; I agree with the suggestion above me, get 2x4gb via dual channel. Don't cheap out on the mobo, get a good quality mobo and not the cheapest one you can find. Is there any reason for the microatx mobo? If you get the 6300, go with something like an Asus M5A97 R2.0 (http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-M5A97-R2-0-SATA-Motherboard/dp/B008V9959O) or search around a bit. I've personally had that case also, wasn't a fan of the fans (no pun intended lol) and had the m5a97 and an fx 8320.
  12. New graphics cards will always continue to flow out so whether you wait or not, the latest graphics card will always be coming out later. It's a bit futile to wait... unless you're trying to save a bit of money and wait for cards to go on sale as the newer ones come out. Regardless you can't really predict the market, I would just buy now.
