  1. Its great Ea is doing Open Beta's now, too bad they are often too late to fix the major problems.

  3. If you consider that cancer is out of control cell growth that results in the body dieing, it is very similar to Ea's practices with segmentation of people who play their games, the dlc, the micro transactions; They as a company are so big that if you dont have their games there are not many other games you can play with other people, then they segment their own customers and slowly kill of the game's community.
  4. Do you have a source? I wonder how many levels you would need to go up to make more purchases, I imagine early leveling will be quite easy, If you're smart and know how the system works you could still game the system to maximize your advantage and purchasing opportunities. I almost sound like an investor /s.
  5. As many of us on the forum are gamers, many of us are probably already aware of EA introducing Loot Crates to the Battlefront 2 series. To some, loot crates are usually not a problem, but this is "Just Keep Digging" EA. In their infinite wisdom EA has decided that these crates can significantly increase the abilities of characters skills, but are also part of the mechanism that levels up each individual load out. As a result wallet warriors and Credit card wielding teens will have the ability to purchase crates from the release, and level up (which is mostly unrelated to a players skill) their characters to gain significant advantages over other new players. Ea has released a statement on one of their blogs https://www.ea.com/games/starwars/battlefront/battlefront-2/news/thank-you-beta which is essentially marketing language for "Sorry, not Sorry." I will link some youtube videos below from Total Biscuit and Luetin09 With their opinions on this implementation of loot crates. I strongly urge anyone with pre-orders to cancel them until we know how EA re tunes the crates or their affect on character abilities and/or progression Edit: For those people looking at this game only for the multiplayer functionality.
  6. I dislike samsung's design, as well as their OS/launcher, the G5 has enough performance. But more importantly, my mom was also needing a phone with a more compact design which is harder to find these days without getting an Iphone, which neither of us want. Additionally, they were buy 1 get 1 at AT&T.
  7. Cause its a Pita to deal with a broken cell phone screen, so I'd rather prevent it if possible.
  8. Hey guys, just changed carriers and now have a naked LG G5, im looking for a screen protector since phantom glass doesn't make one. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm probably gonna grab this case http://a.co/fEwmxFm unless anyone has a reason not too.
  9. my R9 290 runs fine except for the fact that one of the fans bearings is so bad that it wobbles. It can no longer run my games at less than 85C. I even had to set the power limit -5% the other day so it wasnt above 90C. I'm excited for Amd's new gpus because the have a goal in mind to make the best products they can for the average price point for average gamers, not to mention making vr accessible to almost everyone.
  10. Did you guys make sure that the cards were not down-clocking. I've been having issues with my R9 290 down clocking on some games even running 5760x1080 eyefinity; It usually happens when the game isn't demanding enough to run at full load and clock, often times it causes the frames to drop down to from 8 to 16 fps.
  11. I used PrimoCache aka FancyCache, worked very well as a buffer for recording videos. http://www.romexsoftware.com/en-us/primo-cache/ It is free for non-comercial use. Also this is using the partriot ddr3 1600 ram
  12. Their website says that there are 3 sensors built in the plate to detect movement. I assume the 3 pillars are used to detect standing position (upright/crouched). The full package of the Omni is priced at $699. The lowest price on the kickstarter for the virtualizer was the same. If its much more than that for retail it will be a matter of conveniences rather or not its better value than the Omni. I guess I'm just glad im not one of the people that pre purchased an Omni, now that they have competition.
  13. If you can, try and download a custom android launcher (when i installed nova launcher i had to add the app drawer ), that way you should be able to get at least some form of system buttons to show up. here are some recommended by tech radar http://www.techradar.com/us/news/software/operating-systems/10-best-android-launchers-amazing-ways-to-supercharge-your-phone-1231553
