Try using a different port on the monitor and/or GPU and see if it behaves any different. You can also try a different display connection type as troubleshooting, such as switching to HDMI if you're currently using DP, or vice versa.
 
Additionally, does your monitor have any sort of deep sleep option? If so, try turning that off.

3950X instead of the 9700K, its faster I think. Also isnt this all a tiny bit overkill for the games you want to play?

CPU is less of a bottleneck at 1440p, but yes. 3950X is faster, but it's too overkill and not faster than the $250 cheaper 3900X in games. An even better option would be the $300 or so R7 3700X, it's almost on par with the 9700K in single core, and has 8c/16t so it'll do multitasking better. 

I'd also recommend 3600Mhz CL16 RAM, it's gotten much cheaper, and helps performance on both Intel and AMD rigs so whichever way you swing it'll be a plus.

I have played on a curved monitor, the Asus PG348Q, for +2 years. It definitely looks pretty but I am going back to my old 16:9 monitor simply because you can't really see everything on the ultra wide. If you can use it for work to multitask or have any other good reason to have a wide monitor you can go with it but if it's for gaming I think you should stick to 16:9.
Remember that you're able to focus better on a smaller area so if you're playing something where you have to act fast like on WoW you're gonna be better off with a normal monitor but if you just play immersion games like Witcher 3 I guess you can go with the ultra wide.

I am looking for suggestions for a monitor with following specs:

Resolution: 2560*1440p OR 3440*1440p (Curved ultra wide)
Refresh rate: 144Hz or more.
G-sync

I have 1080ti and i7-8700 processor. I want to be able to play DOTA2 and World of Warcraft at max settings.
It will be used mostly for gaming and watching movies.

Welcome to the second edition of How Overpriced is Alienware? If you haven’t read the first article, you can read it here, though it isn’t needed to understand this one. If you don’t already know, this is a price comparison with alienware products, what you can build for yourself, and what else you can buy. You can also get a build from ncix.com, but you can just add $50 to the custom build to get that. I will be comparing a high end and low end model of every alienware product, to give a general range of their value. For the custom builds, I will be including both an equivalent build, and also what I think would be ideal for the price of the alienware build. One thing to remember is that even if the prices are similar, the custom builds I will be including will have much more reliable parts, which will make them generally better options. A final note is that prices do change, but there will generally be a very similar build for the same price. So now that that’s all said, let’s start.

Alienware Alpha console
So we'll actually be starting with a tricky build here, as you can’t build a normal PC this small. Because of that, I’ll have the custom builds in the Silverstone sg13, but I’ll also have a zotac zbox for a better sized comparison. The GPU in the alpha is technically an 860m, but those are practically the same as a 750ti, so I'll be using one of those.
 
 

I think I would have gone with Alienware cuz not being able to do stuff I wanna do on my laptop would make it a pretty disappointing investment. As far as battery life goes there are ways to prolong life by lowering the brightness and switching off wifi and what not. I mean battery life shouldn't be the deciding factor of ur decision.

This will reduce the price of carbon nanotube, while saving the planet. This means more light weight and durable computer cases...

lets keep it fair, you don't live in India, so don't claim something you dont know the reality, the same way i dont know the culture of Scotland and wont claim to know something where i dont live.
on the list of sacred things(animals), cows comes first, then the snakes and then comes elephant. all of those 3 things are sacred in India. monkeys as well. 
all 3 of those animals have their history set in Indian history (mythology) which you obviously aren't interested in knowing about .

There is no death penalty on accidentally killing a cow in India...at least I hope not

Cows are SACRED in India. Though the term sacred is "Christian word" there are Hindi versions of the word...I don't think u can say a word does or doesn't apply to a country cuz that doesn't make any sense to me. Also cows are worshiped in India the reason being a cow was the vehicle of the God Shiva and hence sacred.
 
Now, I am not a what u would call a traditional person cuz I dont believe in lot of things which I should considering I am Hindu but imho the person who ate the beef accidentally doesn't need forgiveness from someone else but its about whether he considers the fact that he accidentally ate beef to big enough sin that he can't forgive himself. Not considering the religious nuts (cuz they are stupid) honest mistakes are not suppose to be be all and end all. Also, imho about the whole thing there is nothing to forgive cuz the moment the person realized what he did he rectified the mistake and no-one got hurt.

My original "limit" was $200 for a single GPU at a time, but when the GTX 770's price dropped with the R9 280X, I decided it was $350. Then I realized that EVGA had refurbished 780s for over $100 off, so I decided what's a budget.
 
My original goal was a gaming computer, now I just have a computer that just so happens to be capable of gaming lol. I'm an enthusiast first, gamer second.

Why do the videos on Vessel look washed out verse those on YouTube?

There's difference between power consumption and TDP. The power consumption is completeley uninteresting, but the amount of heat being kicked out ist very interesting.

NOPE...that depends on ur ISP...internet speed that is but ur router must be able to cope up with it too
