  2. Also shipping costs usually aren't refunded in case of issues. Very common on ebay and other places. That way they still make money when people return their items or file a claim
  3. Thread locked. As pointed out it is a repost and BARELY reputable news at that.

Yeah i don't really care if it's actually single slot but it would look way cleaner! I'll talk to jakob and see what they can do

Ive thought about it. Watercool said they could fab a single slot bracket but technically the block protrudes into a 2nd slot a bit so they didn't want to be misleading and i didnt want to wait any longer than i already have. I MAY end up chopping it but i want to try and keep my warranty on this for once lol. Since i still need a backplate i may have them make me one

Thanks! I never actually wanted a specific waterblock before. Once i heard that they would make it for me with a black top and copper base there was no way i could go with another block... Even though i waited almost 2 months for this!
  9. The folks at Watercool have really done it right!  I think I'm in love

  11. I think it's a great idea, I'll admit I was a little skeptical at first though. The MASSIVE compatibility of their gpu block and the low prices of aluminum make this an interesting new product for people that maybe don't want to spend a grand on a custom loop. https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/EKWB/Fluid_Gaming_240G_Kit/8.html

  13. Great monitor! I paid about 500$ new and it's worth every penny! some people complain about "banding" but just don't forget it's a TN panel and you should be good

  16. W-L nailed it as always. I had a couple res in series once, really no purpose to it but it works just fine. I don't think you'll find any combo units that will do multiple res to multiple pumps IN SERIES. EK made one a while back with 2 res feeding 2 pumps but the pumps were in parallel as it was made for multiple loops. You'll just have to have a separate dual pump top and a couple res and plumb them together yourself. This build actually looks like it may be 2 separate loops. If you want two res's but a single loop then you just need a "T" fitting before and after the res's to split them and bring them back together. Also that dual pump top you linked is great if you can find one. I snagged one last year and I'll never let it go!

    So well made.

ha that is sweet! I miss GT
  20. A build must be looming! This time i set up a little temp pc from spare parts while i work on my main system so I'm not rushed to get a working pc again. I think that will help my patience a lot! My first loop without a case and i like it! I will be starting a build log for the main system soon. The temp loop: Z97 classified w/4790k Gtx 980 w/kryographics block Xspx ex280 rad EK dual loop d5 top/res with only 1 side installed 1/2" x 3/4" soft tubing and barb fittings. Quite surprised the lone 280mm rad is keeping the loop right around 10°c Delta while gaming.
  21. I usually fill my loop with distilled before mixing any coolants so i know exactly how much to mix. I always end up debating leaving it clear because it looks great imo! I've left a few loops clear just for aesthetics
