Things that might be dead: Main PC, Storage Ser…

oh that sucks... My local power utility offers "whole house surge protection" for a couple bucks a month and they pay you replacement value if anything still gets fried from a surge like that. Sorry for your possible losses, hopefully everything is ok and it's just a power issue. Though I've never really heard of power going partially out

    Which one? GtaV
  5. Yup If you buy straight from them I believe you can choose the regular or multiport top for free, which is a must have imo. Shipping is 30$ flatrate most places outside Germany
  6. I just picked up some Barrow fittings (though a slightly newer version) and they seem really solid at first glance. Haven't gotten water into them yet but I feel pretty good about them. I was able to get them on aliexpress for a decent amount cheaper than anywhere in the states and shipping wasn't too bad.
  7. Watercool's Heatkiller is my current favorite. I really wanted to put one in my current build but couldn't justify the money when I have multiple working res on hand. Looks amazing though
  8. I believe the photon is acetal body and aluminum brackets, nothing that should touch the water or cause concern.

That's great! Delidded I assume? or undervolted i guess lol. I'll be popping the top off my 7700k as soon as the tool arrives (should be any day) and then I can finally resume building. It's taken longer than I expected and could've binned for a better chip in this amount of time. 5.0 is around 1.4v pre delid so not great by any means, about what my 4790k did.

Looks like probably just moisture working its way into the thin gap between nickel and plexi. Should become less noticeable as it saturates completely and looks more uniform

  12. Thread moved to Cpu's, Motherboards, and Memory
  13. Could you post pics of the loop? also what bridge or form of connection did you use between the cards?
  14. Thread locked as it is a repost and does not meet tech news and reviews guidelines
  15. only way you really need to worry about exceeding the 1a limit is by hooking up too many fans. Check the amperage (a) listing for the particular fans you're using to see how many you can safely plug into a single header. The bios won't allow you to go above 12v. Example: .25a max draw fans= 4 or less fans on a single header
  16. Have you tried multiple output ports of the GPU? Different display cable? Does your bios have a setting something like "primary graphics> igpu or something else" I feel like I've had this issue before but can't quite remember what it was
  17. Yeah, unless it's just a tiny amount it should at least do some good. I started using that stuff not too long ago and I've been fairly impressed
  18. I know that EK (or Fluid Gaming) is planning or releasing individual radiators and other parts for expansion. I would THINK that you could pick up any cheap aluminum rad but fittings would be an issue

Finally got a new case ... It's the first time…

haha me too! Glad you enjoyed it too. I think me not having a dvd drive has come up twice in a couple years, I just look at people and tell them it's 2017 so get that shiny circle out of my face

Nice! I don't remember the last time I had a back panel on my PC
  22. That little 1 2 at the end of the first paragraph are enough to cover their butts imo. Sorry you're having troubles! Try to submit after you've waited the 30 days from buying the protection plan that done12many2 pointed out, hopefully you'll get lucky and they'll accept it.
