  1. I have been using the exact same power supply for over a year and have not had any issues. I might be lucky of course.
  2. This seems highly unlikely. I once tested this with CS:GO and saw no improvements at all, except for loading times of course. I'm interested in your results if you plan to test it.
  3. It will. It will behave like any other monitor, apart for the Freesync/G-sync part not being used.
  4. As far as I know you can still use the monitor, but the frames won't adaptively sync. I am not aware of any drawbacks apart from that...
  5. I'm very interested in the benchmarks! Can you bottleneck a 6900k with two titan XP's?
  6. I would've done it differently and consider this project as money wasting. >I am in no way criticizing your decisions.
  7. The worst thing is when people ask you to build them a computer. Everytime I talk to them and think about suitable hardware. Then I proceed to qoute them a price of the finished build, after which (and this has happened several times) they tell me they have decided to pick something cheaper. In the end they tell me it's not as fast as they thought it would be...
  8. Thank you guys! Only 10% is not enough when paying 75 euros. I'll save my money and get an i5 I think.
  9. Thanks! I was thinking about doing so too. But then I would need a new Mobo (50,-) CPU (125,-) and new RAM (40,-) (unless I buy a DDR3 Mobo) which is more like 200+ euros. So consider this as the last upgrade for this PC, would it be worth it?
  10. Hello everyone! I currently own a FM2-A55M-E33 with an a8 7600 processor and a MSI r9 270x GPU. Additionally, I have a Hyper TX3 EVO cooler for my CPU. My simple question is; would it be wise to upgrade to a Amd athlon x4 860k? The performance increase is about 10% for €75,-, which sounds great. Additionally, I could also save this money and invest it in my next build. However, I don't know when I'll build the next one. Please help me decide.
  11. I can't seem to find the model of the Motherboard anywhere, what I do know is that it has the i5 4460 installed already so it must be 1150.
  12. I know, that's why I want to swap the CPU and Motherboard at the same time. If I only needed to swap the CPU, I would do it instantly, as the i5 is a lot better than the 7600. My question is, should I take the risk and use the motherboard from the Acer XC-705?
  13. Recently I have got the option to replace my MSI A58M-E33 and a8 7600, with an Acer motherboard from a XC-705 computer with an i5 4460, for free. I know this processor is a lot better than the one I currently own, however, I don't know if the motherboard is any good. I would like to use my MSI r9 270x in this acer motherboard as well. Should I do this or is this a bad idea?
  14. The voltages for turbo boost are rather similar, both above 1.4 volts. However the TDP of the 8320e is 30 lower than the 8350 so you might get some results, but don't expect much as these are both quite hot CPU's.
  15. The same thing has happened to me. I can't seem to open the list view in my subscriptions. So yes, Google is forcing us to use the grid view.
