It took a lot of brain power to turn this case which isn't normally for water cooling into something magnificent but the build quality of it is very good so I was able to do a lot of customization of it (much of which was inside to leave the outside looking clean).  I thoroughly enjoyed building this computer for the previous reasons and because....overkill dual loops is clearly a fun way to go.

Taking the case apart more to figure out my tubing runs. This case makes it interesting, but I'm up for the task.

I've gone through changing how I'm going to do my tube runs at minimum 20 times.  It's been a challenge because I want it to look nice and also I want it to be as symmetrical on both sides as possible even though because of the sections of the case each loop is cooling something in a completely different area of the case.  So with the loops needing to go to completely different sections I believe this is how I'll keep it the returns to reservoir.  Debating keeping/not keeping drains from being in the front of the case like that but having it there is just very functional and I don't think looks bad.

Well for one when I was growing up, computing and I.T education was non existent, and you know all that time kids spend on the Internet? Yea, I was learning about computers that way.
Being given a head start on computer education is definitely not a big deal. Neither was that kid who dismantled and put a clock back together in a pencil case.

(This is not sponsored, unfortunately, I just wanted to include some of the manufactures in the title picture)

    Purpose and Main Idea:

I wanted a build that was if a small form factor, allowing easier transportation when LANNING without sacrificing cooling power when home and overclocking. I also wanted to create as clean of a build visually as I could which is where the idea for this came from. I developed a quick disconnect system from S5 to pedestal allowing me to separate the two. The name "White Metropolis" started out because I was trying to brainstorm a name that wasn't cliche with a white build and choose it with no intention of including it in the build theme. That all changed when I got inspired by city silhouettes. In this build you will find the silhouettes of major cities all across the world such as Hong Kong - China, Bangkok - Thailand and Jakarta - Indonesia because of how they looked. I've hopefully succeeded in tying all these things together in a visually appealing, high detail design. Windows all around led for designing ideas that complement the computer no matter which side you look at it,no matter where you view it from you get a different and equally pleasing view.

    .

The idea is to have the main cabin of the S5 be easily detachable with the bottom. So when home I'll be running a decent overclock through the 240 rad up top and a 360 rad in the pedestal. When I'm using it portable I will detach it from the pedestal (QDC's) and through the use of a Bitspower Valve redirect the flow.

See rough sketch of the idea here (Changed a couple things but you get the point:

I've seen love and hate comments for white builds but this is my personal rig and ultimately I gotta go with what I want so it'll be white with a little darker than sky blue accents all throughout the case.

    Update:

Update #6 Laser Cutting + GPU

Did a lot of work today (10 hours) and although I did so much I feel I have so little to show for it!

Anyways. I have done some more painting (had to redo a bunch because I had a couple items fall victim to Plastidip being fragile)

I also figured out my way to sort of "lock in" the pedestal to the s5 with a click in system using....The CaseLabs side panel connections! I had them send me some extras. It works great!

Now for the Exciting bit. LASER CUTTING

GPU: (Notice the Bitspower logo inside the block, grey matches cables. Silver has been whitened with vinyl.)

Lastly here is a little video of the laser cutting. Enjoy!

    Update:

I have made it to Micro Center and back and my voyage was successful! Please watch the video below, hopefully it's somewhat entertaining.  Store is pretty cool! (God YouTube is slow at offering full 1080)

It's also time for another ask your opinion moment.  I'm messing around with some graphics for the SSD.  One is simply replacing the colors, and the other two are variations on pulling the name (Metropolis) into the build with some building silhouettes but I literally just came up with this idea today so I'm open to you picking one and liking it or offering ideas as to what I can do.  I will be covering the SSD with vinyl and attaching the graphic over that.

Expect massive updates this week and weekend as the case and remaining water-cooling parts arrive TOMORROW.

I'll probably make an update later tonight as well as I am bench testing the componenets now that I have the CPU in hand although I am expecting some possible difficulties with the 4790k since I'm using a z87 board but hopefully ASUS Bios Flashback can help me with that...Will let you know
