That13thGuy got a reaction from Spudbilly in amd r7 or hd 6xxx
Having to use the legacy drivers actually has nothing to do with windows 10, its just that amd stopped making new drivers for their older gpu's when they released their crimson interface.

980 ti, sli is almost never worth it both money wise and due to powerconsumption.

this is a very small version, the bigger versions obviously have better temps and thus better performance but if you only have 1 slot this one should give the best performance.

That13thGuy got a reaction from epicduck535 in is this laptop capable of runing gta 5?
Yes it will. I have an i3-2130, 4gb of ram and a r7 260x and I get 30-45 fps on high settings.
Have fun!

I like your profile pic btw

That13thGuy got a reaction from c0d0ps in Use gpu full potential (SMITE)
I have an i3-2130 which is 3.4 ghz so no OC. I don't think it's the cpu though as it ran fine with my r7 260x

I can't relate to this issue but I did have problems with basic video playback. I watched monsters inc. and it just kept lagging.
That's my favorite movie btw

That13thGuy got a reaction from nameSik in Lowest bottleneck gpu upgrade
Well thank you for your time sir. I will take your advice. I will probably safe up money to get a new pc instead op upgrading the one I have right now, I think it will be the better choice. Thanks again!

That13thGuy got a reaction from ThiefZero in How to lower pc noise
Thanks! I allready noticed that v-sync helped and I have it enabled on most games. Even on gta 5 I have the v-sync halfed because I'd rather have smooth 30FPS and it lowers the sound just a bit. I will also google some stuff. thanks!

That13thGuy got a reaction from Overkilled in Cheapest budget pc ram (8GB)
you would be wrong it really is! I mean it runs well enouph on almost everyting put on "medium" with around 45 fps, but I run it on a 1366x768 display, on that resolution so I can run the game with higher settings and it doesn't have to up/down scale. Which in my opinion makes the game look better then 1080p low settings... Oops I mean "medium"

That13thGuy reacted to sqwidee in Stuck when upgrading to windows 10
Ok, this happened to me while I upgraded my desktop. Wait until the HDD access is not blinking or blinking very infrequently. It is likely that the installer didn't pick the right video out.
When I did this and rebooted my monitor turned on fine, you should be able to go into bios if you want, and if you boot into Windows you should get Windows 10 and it should be fine.
Also if you have an Nvidia card, make sure you get their Windows 10 driver ASAP

That13thGuy reacted to CreativeTHC in slow start cause new grapgics card?
Yes it is because of you new gpu and second is windows 8 u.u...
First make sure you disable update new software drivers from Windows update, and just disable Windows update. Put it on manual.
Then install the new and latest version driver of your gpu that you have downloaded.
This happens in laptops a lot, because the driver that Windows is installing isn't the same with the one AMD have on heir site so they fight each other.
Let me know if this helped.

That13thGuy got a reaction from Wtalk2 in Will I be bottlenecked?
Well thanks a lot for your help! Cya!
-
That13thGuy reacted to SeanBond in Will I be bottlenecked?
I don't think the bottleneck would be huge but you probably should not put the 260x in with that psu. I will assume it's just some crap prebuilt power supply? You would need a quality 250w at the least to not have it blow up. So invest in a power supply of some sort first.
-
That13thGuy reacted to Wtalk2 in Will I be bottlenecked?
It might be bottlenecked a little but that CPU still has some life left in it and 4GB of RAM is still enough for most games. I would seriously think about upgrading your power supply to something that can provide more wattage such as the "Corsair CX430" because that system with the new GPU in it will be likely getting very close to pulling 250 Watts when gaming.
-
That13thGuy reacted to Wtalk2 in Will I be bottlenecked?
If it doesn't have the required power it simply won't work. A decent PSU that will run that system with that GPU just fine would be pretty cheap. I would take a look at these power supplies.

That13thGuy reacted to Wtalk2 in Will I be bottlenecked?
Some variants of the GTX 750 do but you can get variants that only require the power supplied by the PCI-e slot
Such as: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-01gp42753kr

That13thGuy reacted to Aniallation in Will I be bottlenecked?
I would grab a GeForce GTX 750 instead, similar performance but uses less power and will be able to comfortably run on your current power supply.
