I install all my games on my other HDD, any other programs go on the SSD for speed.

I only recently upgraded to 16GB from 8. 8GB served me fine for years of heavy gaming, only reason I needed to upgrade was more demand in photoshop and virtulisation. 16GB is marketing for games, make you spend more on their products. I know some people who have 64GB who ONLY game, just for bragging rights...

Was a few years ago and I used a free copy of Pinnacle Studio. Anything that can record from a source should be fine though.

I've used one of those before and it worked, supplied software was terrible, however the dongle worked a treat.
