  1. That's more or less the same price actually, because the one you showed is an STI, the one i did is actually a WRX

  3. Yep, I was looking for an answer like that. There is one more question that I have an interest in. Let's take Elite Dangerous. Does Star Citizen offer this kind of exploration, (more or less) or is it much more limited (closed space), as in for example you join the particular area, rather than cruising around the galaxy? Is the galaxy limited to X amount of star system that you can explore and mine? I think what I mean with this question, is that I've only seen so far like two or three "maps" so to speak, that I've seen anyone in the game. Will there be "maps" as star systems as well, or will it be procedural, kind of like Sandbox later on? (I know it's just Alpha, I'm just wondering on the idea of the developers on this? I kind of still don't get the direction of the game in that perspective.)
  4. hey dont you wikipedia me
  5. Isn't that just the after 06' versions in STi? I'm thinking of a ~05-06' WRX, maybe a prodrive package. Planning to keep it stock to spare myself problems in the future and keep it cruising friendly.
  6. What's wrong with it? I'm having one and I'd say I'm more than impressed with colors, esspecialy blacks. I'm guessing you did switch to 100%SRGB and are running on 60Hz Display Port?
  7. I understand you get the game when it's released with everything that you earn now? How long does it take to earn for another ship/hangar/whatever assets in the game are of some worth? Do you need to spend more money to get In Game Assets? Is there a monthly payment for being able to play the game? Can you buy the Insurance with In Game Currency?
  8. I think you misunderstand the idea behind it. Term fix implies that something is broken. DX12 will simply improve a bunch of aspects that are heavy on the performance and relay on Draw Calls and Multi-Core performance. And that, depending on the implementation from the developer, may be a huge or none of a difference.
  9. I just browse reddit all day.
  10. 295x2 or 2x 390x when it comes out. Edit: Just read the thing about 'bad reviews on 295x2' I've got 60fps in 4K on Very High with FXAA and Vsync in GTA V. The problems with drivers and all of that bullshit come from not taking care of your PC. I honestly can't think of any other reason. I didn't have any problems with my card at any point and any game. Don't download Beta drivers, and download profiles for games you want, when they come out. The usual Crossfire/SLI bullshit may happen when the game comes out and profiles are not updated right on time, but I haven't noticed that yet. PS: In 4K you don't need Anti Aliasing, so you're getting bonus FPS'es for that.
  11. What's undeniable, is that R9 295x2 pulls 60 fps in 4K.
  12. It's basically a better NFS: Shift 2
  13. Without giving out your budget, it's going to be a guessing game of who likes what better. I can only tell you for sure, that my R9 295x2 runs GTA V in 4K at 60fps, so obviously this is going to be a fuckoverkill for your system. I'd say personally, wait for 390X or buy a 980GTX. Don't go for 970 SLI, as in my case, the R9 uses 7GB of VRAM, when 970 SLI only will get 3.5. Even though that's 4K, you will get around 3/4 of that in 1440p. It's a hard choice really, and it all boils down to your personal preference and budget.
  14. Pink was the manly color during the times of Wild West, as it was cheaper than red.
  15. Cruising. http://www.reddit.com/r/GTAV_Cruises
  16. - Grand Thef auto 5 - 1440p, almost every option maxed out. * really heavy random stutters (not talking about microsttuter here, frame dropping to like 10fps), you get really high FPS 60+ with almost every setting at max. Unpleasant gameplay with CFX with beta drivers (15.4), not recommended. I'm playing on 4K 60fps everything on very high with FXAA on, I've only got random stutters from time to time and drops to ~45 fps. R9 295X2 GTA V optimised drivers/profile.
  17. Game needs to be optimised properly first and foremost, then we'll be bothered with raw power of GPU's
  18. Downscaled to 1080p from UHD:
  19. I'm going to be honest with you mate, We don't know your intentions. I have no idea, what you really care about. Electricity costs, power draw, what's your PSU, is it an upgrade or a new PC... Do your research first, look for what you need. To answer your question though, Crossfire is obviously better performance wise.
