Hi gang, I have a 300$ budget. I mainly play CSGO(Eventually Overwatch), some League/Dota/Hots. I am running it with an R9 290/i7 2600k Any recommendation? *Also prefer not a TN Panel* Thankss!

So I figured it out, the mobo bios was out of date and for some reason wasnt compatible. I ended up just buying a new mobo and a i5 4690k. #YOLO Thanks everyone!

Maybe I should bring it back to NCIX store and have them test it?(The GPU)

Its so odd though, I bought the exact same card and put it on my personal box and it works fine. I got the 2 cards from the same place, but for some reason this one is acting up. Do you guys think that symptom I posted above means that the hardware actually has issues?

How do you install drivers without the card installed? Also I just noticed that whenever I put the card into the mobo non of the usb ports would work its almost like the mobo would die. Even if I use the on-board dvi/vga it wouldnt show display.

I purchsed a new R9 290 a few days ago but when i installed it, it wont show display on the monitors.(Monitors would just go to energy saving mode). So to troubleshoot I tried it in a different box and it worked perfectly.(I think, I cant remember I am tired now after troubleshooting for a 12hours) Its not the mobo or anything else because I plugged the old card in and the old card works, its also not windows or drivers because we just freshly wiped and re-installed windows. I also tried different inputs, dvi, hdmi and display port. Still doesnt work, also got a new PSU since I thought it was a power issue but with the same result. I need help, I am desperate! If this still doesnt work I will go to a computer repair store tomorrow and just pay someone to fix it.

Well, I generally upgrade my specs piece by piece whenever budget allows. I guess my oldest component right now is my HDD and my Case.

I am in Canada and it seems like ony NCIX and Amazon are selling these at the moment. Im a noob, I need practice! I am currently watching Linus video on cable management.

Hello, I've had this case for a while now and I just realized after seeing other peoples builds how much cleaner and nicer the wiring is if properly managed. So I tried to rewire everything but I fail to get that effect. My current look That is an ASUS Radeon R9 290. My question is, is there a way I could fix this for better cable management? Or should I just buy a new case? I was looking at the H440 or the Fractal R5, is there any other cheaper recommendation that is future proof and around that price/maybe cheaper? Thank you.
