  1. Syndra just one me rig of the month at high performance pc gaming on facebook!
  2. Yeah a D5 pump seems like a must for the aurora series, and def get the second gen of it, it's suppose to be like a 5th of the size of the first gen aurora
  3. I agree, looks matching and professional. I'm actually running a vote on another thread with pictures of both to help me decide but I'm leaning towards pastel white
  4. Yeah the aurora 2 hasn't seem to be too bad so far in this, I took my drain port off to eliminate dead zones, they say run the d 5 pump minimum 4 speed but so tempting to slow it down for show! :) I keep it running 24/7 just wish it matches my white theme
  5. So... I'm leaning towards the pastel ice white as it matches and just looks slick. On the other hand, the aurora I'm experimenting with looks pretty cool, you get to actually see it flowing. I dont need to be told about it's dangers too, I've monitored it and it's running well and if it clogs I can clean the system. I would have to change my cables to a black or maybe silver type to match the aurora better. So... Pastel White, or Aurora silver what do you guys think (the don't make supernova white aurora anymore) Also I'm talking to mayhems about mixing the aurora booster into the ice white pastel for a small aurora affect with the pastel white to make a sort of supernova white What do you guys think? ********* Update *************** I went with the Pastel Ice White, it just looks so dang perfect with it verses just the "Cool" looking silver. Turned out to work good too, I won the facebook High Performance PC Gaming rig of the month for may, got a decent 50 bucks for it. Thanks for voting on the coolant guys! ********** Aurora 2 Silver ****************** ********** Pastel Ice White ****************
  6. Oh dang, I didn't know anyone was following yet! Sorry this is late but yeah those cables are a mess in those pictures, I put a full cover water block on and got those cables under control. I'll snag some updated pictures and get them up. Thanks for the comments guys
  7. So I thought it might be fun to throw this out there, I haven't done a build log before but I've built a few systems. This is going to be my first hard line loop and only second time water cooling build, I'm using all ekwb fittings, gpu blocks/backplates, cpu block, petg tubes, res 250mm, d5 pump, (still to order are the radiators which I think I'll be using hardware labs black ice, 1x 240 and 1x 380} umm so ya, I guess thats how I'll start this and see if anyone likes it. any suggestions or anything let me know. Thanks for checking out anyone and here's some pics of what I've got done so far PS I forgot the computer hardware list mobo: evga x99 classified cpu: intel i7-5820k ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4-2133 Memory UPDATED: 32GB RAM... 8. LinusTechTips? I would love to add a few drives to boot to when I want to use unraid to split my 970s and play with a friend, but also keep a main os on another drive separate from unraid with my 970's in sli when i want all the horse power for myself. Is this possible or will unraid detect and format all drives for itself?
