Don't do it cold turkey. I have been using Linux for 15 years so I'd do the switch overnight. But it's different and not everything will be familiar to Windows users, so I'd advise installing it on another partition and getting familiar with it for a few months at least.

This is actually my first time replying on forum.
I went to high school and college in Canada for about 4 years. I know my English is not perfect and I am still working on it.

As you guys know most of us went to BCIT together and we have known each other quit well. Berkel is my best friend in Canada(maybe). that would be weird if he actually treated me too nice. He helped me a lot on moving here, settling down in Canada a lot more that you guys won't see behind the camera. Any jokes he made didn't bother me and they were entertaining for me as well.

If there were actually a racist or uncomfortable work environment at LMG, how would I abandon all my friends and family and moved away from Taiwan? I enjoy working here with all the great people. thank you for your consideration though. it's all good.

Hey bros. Taran here. I just happened to see this topic and thought I'd respond.

Edzel, Brandon, Dennis, and myself all went to BCIT together for Television/Broadcast in the same year. We all became friends during the two-year program, and now we get to work together as well.

Here's one of the dumb projects we made during that time:

When you see Nick (Van Berkel) acting mean towards Dennis, you're seeing it out of context. They are friends, and are currently roommates. Nick teases all of us for all sorts of things, that's just his personality. Guys who like each other will pretend to be mean!

We all like Dennis around here and he's a valuable member of the team. I recorded a bit where I say that - you'll see it in an upcoming moving Vlog.

That being said, I know it can certainly LOOK like Berkel is just a big bully sometimes, so I like to get footage where Dennis strikes back. (Like the The Office style interview where he mocks Berkel for talking too much, and the part where he gets Nick a shirt that says "white people can't read this.")

It's mot always easy to show everything for what it really is in a 15 minute video that encompasses a whole day, but we do try.

5820k in terms of the CPUs itself is superior to the 6700k no doubt.
However I would recommend getting a better graphics card instead and going for the Xeon E3-1231v3 as the CPU unless you really need a very powerful one. This one is basically equal to an i7-4770 in terms of performance.

    EDIT: For example this:
Note: You don't need this CPU cooler, but it seems like you want to watercool your CPU so this would be perfect. A simple 212 Evo would be more than enough though ^^

    2. Actually use it to do so.

    3. Be damn grateful.

    Option 2:
If they aren't cool with the cost, ask people here to shave it down to something they are comfortable with.

    Option 3:
Go halfsies with them on it

    Option 4:
    1. Save Your Money

    2. Hope they allow you to drop a shitload of money on one thing, because you still are under their roof

    -Lie
    -Be ungrateful afterwards
-Take advantage of the fact that they (probably) don't know a lot about tech

16awg can carry 10 amps of current where as 18 can only carry 7 amps of current, for power supplies I imagine that 18 would be ok because you don't draw everything through one 18 gauge conductor. 18 is physical smaller in diameter so it would be easier to manipulate, with it being smaller, you could have the same numbers of conductors in one spot where you might  not be able to with 16, so if space is tight, 18 is my bet.

As for making the PSU run better... no.

Reworked the Sabertooth a bit more, decided after seeing it inside the desk that the silver
would look better black to match the other parts.

I left some brown bits but if there still seen when the components are added then I  will most
likely also paint them Red or black.

Can you download and run MalwareBytes please? It's a free application that can shift even the worst offenders, if it finds anything, then let it remove them and then reboot and attempt to delete the files that are locked and unremovable.
If the files still won't delete after that then boot into Safe mode and run the command prompt as administrator from there.
If you want a free video editor/rendering software then try Davinci Resolve Lite, you can download it for free from there and you don't even have to enter any real personal details, just any old rubbish will do, it has most of the features that paid software does and while it is tricky to learn how ot use, once you get used to it, it's an immensely powerful bit of software and you can do a heck of a lot with it.

Get either a corsair h55 or h60. Thr kraken x31 is £5 more, so that may be worth it for you, depending on how flexible your budget is. At this level I would personally got with an air cooler if you case can support one.

AMD CPUs don't have thermometers in their cores. The sensors are further away, usually on the motherboard. Safe operating temps are 65°C and under. Anything higher than that is a "danger" zone that you do NOT want to stay in. 80°C is bad. This is NOT an Intel chip. You should stop using this computer until you can get your temperatures under control.

less than 5% OVERALL MEMORY PERFORMANCE improvement from running single channel DDR3 vs dual channel...so when it comes to actual gaming performance: next to zero benefit from dual channel RAM, i tested this already you can find all my testing in my youtube videos.

You run battlefield hardline at 4k... Of course there isn't gonna be a bottleneck since at that resolution the games become gpu dependent. Also not to mention that the price of the 8350 with a 990 fx board and water cooling is as much as an i7.

Personally, I would wait until the Fury X's drivers have been released (as far as I know, they haven't), so the performance isn't gimped by unoptimized drivers.
However, until that point, the 980ti is the clear choice.

As I said, I would wait to see how it turns out after a bit of driver tweaking.
But if you want something now, then 980ti

    -------------------------------------------------------UPDATE---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Going to be a busy week, wife due to pop any day now, more packages have arrived that i've been eagerly awaiting  so I can get to work on the internal panels & logos.   during the past week I started painting my nutz & remote for the desk lifting motor, painted now so there nice  & hard ready for when i pick the speaker housing finish & fit the glass top.       Same finish as the desk, matte black         also did the top shelf lighting, using strips & 2 other types of single LEDs on the desk. on the shelf I now have chaser lights 10 pin & standard 5050 4 pin LEDs, this gives me hundreds of lighting options & also means I'm able to have chasing lights  set to any shade I want while also having a second light pulsing or one of the other options.     The only downside is, I needed to solder 54 points just for the shelf
