hello. i have had my laptop for sometime now, i am currently in the process of fixing my desktop and i have my laptop as my main pc, is it bad if i keep it plugged in for long periods of time while i am working, gaming or watching a movie on it?

i would tell your friend to save up another 200-300 dollars to get something that he will actually be able to game on..

Hey guys tomorrow im receiving my sager NP8268-S specs don't really matter at this point the computer brings a disk drive with all utilities and drivers but i need an OS any Good suggestions as to Where to get one for a reasonable price?

My sisters laptop keyboard just stopped functioning completely out of no where, the laptop wasn't dropped and has always been taken good care of, i cant access bios or log into any user because they are password protected, i have tried restarting it and using an external USB-keyboard nothing seems to work any ideas? i have gone as far as to take it apart to see if any of the cables slipped out or any damaged components were notable but still nothing.. any help will be highly appreciated Laptop Model is Toshiba Satellite c855d-s5100

Do you have a legitimate copy of windows 7? if so use your Bootable USB or CD to access the windows recover enviorment and use it to restore files, seems like there could be an issue with your boot loader...

I have a windows 8 image, it would be a waste to buy the OS. is installing the OS on this laptops a known problem?

once more sorry for the noobish question but when you have a cpu that says 2.5 up to 3.5 ghz, does that mean i have to OC to reach the 3.5? GHz im a little unclear on that..

So you would definetely go for Clevo instead if MSI, ASUS ect.. and to install the OS later how would i find the drivers to all of the components, this wouldn't bring any trouble?

No you will be fine, i would be more worried about the WiFi connection remember to change you windows network settings to public when connecting to any public or untrusted network even if it is password protected unless your connecting using a vpn..
