I just realized that the case is only 5.5 inches wide, while the PSU is listed as 5.9 inches wide, or am I looking at the numbers wrong? As a matter a fact all of the dimensions seem huge for the case, I feel like I'm looking at it wrong though

Will this PSU: https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Modular-Certified-Warranty/dp/B00CGY4EUA/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1543902709&sr=1-1&keywords=v850+psu Work with this case: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KV6ACLO/?coliid=IQVC8HG5TENUR&colid=1JCZ3LAA7HMRM&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it I know the specifications say 130mm clearance which is 5mm off of the PSU, but will it be such a slight difference it could work?

My current H440 does not fit under my desk, and it’s kind of an eye sore

I think the first one is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for! It’s been awhile since I’ve built my PC, so I’ve kind of forgotten about all the technicalities and what not, could you do me a favor and see if my case switch is still compatible with these parts: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/zeska/saved/Kgzj4D , plus a PCI-e network adapter. Like I said I’ve lost some of my tech sense over the years and worry I might skip over a crucial detail. Much thanks!

What are some of the absolute smallest ATX cases that are preferably under $150?
-
Basically, looking for either a good mini itx or mATX case to switch from atx. Small form factor is the main goal with the switch, so whichever of the two has the smallest case/is more compatible. These are my parts: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/zeska/saved/#view=Kgzj4D , so gotta be compatible. Oh, also have a PCI-e network adapter, also has to hold that. Don't know how much of an issue the HDD will be, but it can definitely be worked out if it is a major issue in terms of cutting down to as small of a pc as possible. Don't have a specific motherboard in mind atm, so any recommendations there would also be appreciated. Been awhile since I've built my pc, so I don't know exactly how realistic all of this. Thanks!

Yeah I'm aware, I just really like the 13' size, and the really slick design of the new macbook. Plus, my dad kinda has a large discount on apple computers due to his work, so its a no-brainer. And gaming like I said isn't top priority, I'll live if it can't play SoT, but with that being said, what do you think of its capabilities to do so? Thanks for advice.
-
Okay, so I'm looking to buy a 13' mac pro with the Iris 650, and I'm trying to determine if I could play Sea of Thieves(With Bootcamp Windows 10). As far as I know it would have to be 540p and absolute minimum quality, and the only reference I could get was of a HD Graphics 630: hence me making this post. The dude gets 25-30, so thats what I was wondering, if those numbers would go up much. Theres also this: https://www.google.com/search?q=potato+sea+of+thieves&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjAj5z1m-vaAhXMyVQKHTgFBt8Q_AUIDCgD&biw=1440&bih=803#imgrc=xigCfIM2F7ZR1M: , which references a supposed stable 30 fps with an Iris 540(so what you have), and you mentioned theres not a big difference. I mean gamings not my primary concern with a mac obviously, but it would be pretty cool to have when a friend comes over. Do you think I'm over doing it with trying to make a mac work for gaming?haha
-
This is completely random, but what kind of performance upgrade are we looking at with the Iris in terms of gaming? Large, medium, not noticeable? Thanks.

Wait are we talking about powering the actual vive itself? Ya know through the link box, the laptop battery situation i can deal with later
-
fixed it...
-
Do you guys know if a battery such as this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0116BX968/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1F1J38XKJUKUY&coliid=I2VLPQY454C1VW ,would be adequate for powering the htc vive through the link box? Because at this point thats the only problem i might end up having

All i want to know is if i put said laptop into a bag such as this one https://www.amazon.com/ASICS-ZR450-Mesh-Backpack/dp/B0049H8UVQ, for a good 1 or 2 hours of gametime, to create a vr backpack machine, will the heat be an issue? Considering its mesh and allows airflow i think it should be fine???
-
What about something like this: https://www.amazon.com/ASICS-ZR450-Mesh-Backpack/dp/B0049H8UVQ, it even has a convenient pouch for the battery on the back, it gives plenty of room for airflow

Why would they sell it if they knew of this problem is what I don't understand. Does the 15 inch version of this model have the problem as well?
