  5. So I have been using both browsers for quite some time now and I'm undecided on which one I personally like. Which one do you prefer?

  8. So I was making a Windows 10 bootable USB stick for my new hard drive, and I used Rufus 2.0. Whenever I select the flash drive for preferred boot device, it says "Please insert a boot device and press any key". Anyone else have this issue?
  9. Now if you have a pirated copy of Windows 7 or 8, this maybe awesome for you. Microsoft had recently announced that they are allowing non-genuine versions to upgrade to Windows 10 for free! Why you may ask, the answer is China. Almost all of China is running off of pirated copies of Windows. Microsoft said they want to "re-engage" those users. 17. True but if you want to use Steam or any other application like Skype, you have to do this to use these apps. On Chrome OS, you can't because of Chrome OS basically being a web browser.
  18. Yea now I did because you said it looked fake so I changed it back to the normal size, either way I made this. Besides I always include the link to where I got the things I post. Look at any of my other post.

  21. Have you ever wondered if you could game on a Chromebook? Well you can but you must do something first. In order to do this, your Chromebook must be in Developer Mode. If you don't know how to put it in Developer Mode, here is how to. Press the ESC+Refresh+Power keys, then hit ctrl+D. Hit enter and your Chromebook will reboot. Once again hit ctrl+D and your Chromebook will prepare itself for Developer Mode. Once its done your Chromebook will boot into Chrome OS. When you are on your desktop, open Chrome. Go to GitHub and download Crouton. Once its downloaded, open crosh. To open chrosh, hit the following keys: ctrl+alt+t. For the first command type in shell. Your indicator will turn green. Now type in the following commands: sudo sh -e ~/Downloads/crouton -t unity. Its going download a few things and then it is going to ask you what you wan to name your account. Then type in any password. It will ask you to re enter is then it will say unmounting then done. Congratulations! You have successfully installed Ubuntu Linux 12.04! Don't worry its a dual boot, to switch back to Chrome OS hit ctrl+alt+← and to switch back to Linux, press ctrl+alt+→+↺. Now when you are in Linux open xterm. Type in sudo apt-get install software-center. Type in your password and press Y. Now open Software Center. Get Flash, Firefox, and Java first. Then get Steam and log in. Chromebook aren't going to handle the latest triple a titles but they will handle very light games like Dota 2 or Minecraft Maybe even some Counter-Strike if you lower the settings a bit. People may think this is crazy but its actually kind of fun to do! This is perfect for just playing light games and with Linux you get more application support than Chrome OS. Some of the games I tried were Counter Strike 1, Counter Strike Condition Zero, Minecraft, and Dota 2. Dota 2 had to be lowered a bit but it still was playable with the max FPS of 56 and the lowest at 28. Minecraft ran just fine for me at 60 FPS. The same goes with the two Counter Strike games. Overall this is a great little machine to tinker with. My model Chromebook is a Dell Chromebook 11 with an Intel Celeron clocked at 1.6 gigahertz. I hope you guys enjoyed this guide on gaming with a Chromebook! -jdcasazza23
