  1. Sennheiser HD 471 + Steelseries Rival 100 + Logitech G600 + CM Storm Quickfire TK
  2. There are several DNS Client Events warnings, but they do not always coincide with the freezes - or so it seems to me. The Event ID is 1014 and the description is "Name resolution for the name timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded."
  3. @ziogref - there is no unusual CPU or RAM usage normally, but there is a small spike in CPU usage (5-10%) when one of the freezes happens.
  4. @ziogref - try this link: https://mega.nz/#!90IkyY7I!HviU5W-_C_7wXMTExpfD1W359GIF-TvDRDwRtncjmbo - i only edited the original post so your quote didn't contain the key. I've just run chkdsk and it has found no problems with my file system.
  5. @dewman - How would I go about checking my PSU without specialty equipment and/or a spare PSU (which I don't have, sadly)? @ziogref - Temps were the first thing I checked, and everything's okay - GPU rarely goes above 70, CPU rarely goes above 60 and my HDD/SSD are hovering at or around 30 degrees Celsius. Also, I've fixed the link
  6. Hey, long time lurker here hoping you guys may be able to help me out. I've been having random freezes for a while now, both in games and outside of them - in videos. I'm unsure of whether they happen when not watching videos or playing games as they are fairly short and I can't notice them. I've attached a video of this happening (while playing a TV Show, as it was easier to film), but the behaviour is the same during games. Usually the audio gets stuttered also, but not always. I'm running Windows 10 x64 and my PC specs are as follows (no overclock on anything): PSU: Super Flower Golden Green SF-650P14XE(GX) 650W MB: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI CPU: Intel i7 4790K OS drive: Samsung 850 EVO 250gb SSD Storage drive: 1TB WD Green GPU: AMD R9 290, Sapphire Tri-X version Ram: 2x8GB 2400MHz DDR3 Corsair Vengeance Pro Everything in my computer is, at most, 14 months old - some are newer, but basically everything is still in great shape. Link to the video of this happening: https://mega.nz/#!90IkyY7I!HviU5W-_C_7wXMTExpfD1W359GIF-TvDRDwRtncjmbo If I've missed anything or a more in-depth look into my hardware may help, this is a Speccy sheet of my PC: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/v6mL8bopfRsiSJ0HsKHbDBI Any help is appreciated, thank you!
