It has been a while since I looked, but I believed it is a hardware limitation that can be combatted with software, although don't quote me on this, as I said it's been a while so I chance to be wrong here. Hopefully someone who has looked it up more recently can speak up and tell me if i'm right / wrong.

That error is probably becuase it is failing to boot and then you have to do a hard shutdown to reset the system. It could be a compatability issue between the Win10 fast startup and the hardware, or it could be a corrupted Prefetch file (what is used to allow Windows fastboot). Take it one step at a time.
    Clear the CMOS.
    Update the BIOS.
Try booting it both without and with fastboot enabled.
If the issue persists, then do some research on Google to see if other people with the same mobo have had the same issue and if they found a fix.

Im RMAing the card just through the shop where I bought it, not Gigabyte. Im kind of a casual gpu guy, I don't really overclock my gpu that much. I've decided to send them a request for a 980 (model still unknown) or a 980ti and ill pay the price difference between the two cards.

Thanks for your answer, it means a lot to me that the community is so helpful and that I receive replies so fast as well.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I value that . I might get a can of air first, and then invest in a compressor later. I just wanna test out how effective the cans are. 70kr is not really a lot; its around 8 USD.

I've only had it on pc. 160 hours of fear never knowing what happens next. At this point I'm too lazy to even play it before its properly fixed.

I guess we can wait for GTA VI to be released in 2018. And then wait 2 years for it to come out of PC. By 2020 my interest for GTA is probably gone..

Im kind of disappointed. The game has been out for so long and this still hasn't been solved. I did contact the support at some point and all they said I should do was to downclock my card.

    I hate losing performance.

Btw I did underclock though it didn't fix the problem anyway.

So today this morning, I decided to turn on my desktop, since I wanted to play some games with friends. I usually use speakers when playing with friends, and I use my macbook to skype. My macbook was out of battery, so I had to plug it in the electrical outlet. However, the outlet gave a gigantic spark and fried the tip of my charger. My desktop computer turned off completely when this happened.

    Specs of current system:

Nvidia Gigabyte GTX 780ti GHZ Edition

    Noctua NH-D14 SE2011

    Kingston SSDNow V300 SSD - 120GB

    Razer Blackwidow Expert 2014

    Razer Deathadder 2013

I am really worried now, though i havent plugged it in a another outlet to see if it is working. Is it possible that my components have been fried? Can someone help me with this situation??
