I won't. I have a huge respect for Jim Keating and that's why I didn't just rip all the designs off (like some guys in Poland tried) but actually went the extra mile to buy the IP so this would be legit.

As I said before, I'm aiming for the same level of craftsmanship and quality as expected from CaseLabs and, hopefully, there will be no difference between a pre 2018 CaseLabs' case and a post 2021 CaseLabs' case. It will be a long road to travel but I'm 100% committed to making this work and keeping the spirit of CaseLabs alive.

It's a Swedish name, and yes, I am that criminologist. I think I'm the only one with that name in the world.
I wouldn't say I'm "living my dream of reviving something lost". I actually contacted Jim Keating about acquiring the IP as soon as I read about the bankruptcy back in August/September 2018 and has worked hard for the last three years to buy the IP. I think there is untapped potential here that is more than just selling boutique cases.
Thank you. My aim is to keep the same level of quality and craftsmanship that CaseLabs was known for. I wouldn't settle for anything less.
Yes, I've looked into why CaseLabs went bankrupt and made a careful decision based on thw information provided to me.

I think I have around 280 notes for new features spread across like 20 "topics". Some ranges from "more paint options" and "better I/O" options to revamps for existing cases to brand new models (like different form factors etc). Will every change be implemented? Probably not, but I'm confident that I'll be able to update existing models and bring new models to the market. It all depends on how everything will go from here.
Well, try not to focus on me being a criminologist. I know it is weird that I don't have a background in the computer/manufacturing business but I studied product development and design before changing majors. I also have some close friends that acts as advisors and they're mechanical engineers and industrial engineers.

The goal has always been to manufacture the parts on location in Sweden and that's what I'm working towards right now. Depending on how things develop i might try to manufacture parts in the US so the cost for international shipping won't dissuade buyers in the North and South America. But no promises when, or even if, that will happen.

I would argue the values are correct then, but if the status is still "Good" you do not have anything to worry about. It has often been reported that SSDs can take way more writes than the manufacturer says on the fact sheet (see here and the end of the test).
As long as there is sufficient free space (15%~20%) on the disk to trim and shuffle blocks without issues then there is a good chance drives can take much more TB written than expected. That being said: I would keep Samsung magician (totally agree on the UI btw) running in the background so it can alert you if the drive is actually starting to fail (afaik it should then go into read-only mode).

Yeah, a lot of people do that. If the external drive is an SSD and the port is USB 3 or better than you won't even feel a difference in loading times.
The only thing to look out for is that the external drive is always assigned the same drive letter so that programs like Steam or Origin don't get confused.

Well, that's expected when a game doesn't sell as well as anticipated... especially a big franchise like BF. As for why this happened, honestly I'm not sure - I don't think it's the single player being bad, it has always been trash in battlefield games ever since they introduced a CoD style campaign. I don't think it's the lack of a BR mode either, though they may have lost a lot of customers to Fortnite and PUBG.

It may be that people are just no longer interested in Battlefield-like games, or they've been burned by the Battlefront fiascos. I myself haven't bought a Battlefield game in years due to their season pass nonsense and their insistence on making the multiplayer closer and closer to CoD, which I never liked.

Once you add on all taxes that need to be paid US and EU prices are comparable on most items. The difference in perception is that US prices don't include the tax until you go to pay, where as EU prices DO include the tax.

For example a 9600K is only $2 cheaper on new egg than it is from my local big box retail store, once you include all taxes. (but not including delivery or import taxes).

You may have mixed up VAT with import Duty, outside of the EU you have to pay import tax on goods, which is where the price increase happens compared to EU standard prices. Basically if you are in the EU order from within the EU, not only will it be cheaper (provided you do your research and get it from the best store) but you also get a 2 year warranty as standard.

I've done the comparison on quite a few builds and always come within $40 of the US price (sometimes it's cheaper in the EU, sometimes more expensive, but never more than $40 difference)

I completely disagree. It is aggravating editing the .ini files and downloading mods/tweaks for some poorly designed games (I'm looking at you Bethesda), but when games support 21:9 it is WAY better than 16:9.

Hey guys, first time posting here, so let me know if I'm doing it right! This is the first in a series of cases I am building. While this one happens to be a SFFPC, the next few that I plan on doing will be a bit larger and for an mATX & ATX standard. The design is made out of 3/16" steel & fabricated entirely by me.

That is a dangerous thing to be happening. Electricity is arcing through the air, sending current to a part of the component that is not supposed to receive it. It may seem "fine" since nothing bad has happened yet, but it is a computer killer at best and a fire hazard at worst. That PSU needs RMA ASAP, IMO.

I buy a air tunnel online and use it to redirect cool air into the rig.
You can order the tunnel in different length.

I'm using it for my captain 240 white.

I move the fans on top of the rig.

The screws for the fan ain't long enough so I have to zip tie it down ,until the nut and bolt I order arrive.

It is sucking in cool air from my air-con.

I'm planing to get more of the air tunnel and build a independent air tunnel for the CoolerMaster 212x I have.
    Update
I added back two of the original fans on the radiator.

    Then I run AIDA 64
    My i5 8600k At 4700 MHz

    At 4900 Mhz

    At 5000 Mhz

Somehow the temperature and voltage got lower at 5000 MHz.
I'm using gigabyte easy tune to overclock and i set the voltage setting at auto ,perhaps that's why.

i'm pretty sure the corsair fan pushes more air of the two you listed.
with that said, that heat sink is pretty small and you won't need a crazy high pressure fan.
