Need some advice... About a month ago I was embroiled in a bitter dispute with Vodafone(UK) to get my upgrade done. Started swimmingly, they agreed to do it early, wave the fee, gave me a good deal etc etc. What then followed was quite literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Delays in communication, mis-information and in some cases actually blatantly lied to. In the end it was so bad I asked them to cancel the order, WHICH TOOK A WHOLE WEEK which I thankfully have in writing from them, well sms anyway. So exactly 3 days after cancelling the order, the Pixel I had ordered from them turned up??? (Now subsequently, while I was cancelling this order I actually found a better deal with O2 and had the phone the next Day!) So I called Vodafone UK, told them they sent me the phone, they asked me if I could take it back to a store , I said only if they paid me to as it was inconvenient. At this point I was also waiting on the compensation they had promised me (£100) at this point. They told me to call the next day to arrange the compensation to be paid, so I did, I discussed the compensation, had it paid into my bank, then mentioned the phone....Now I carefully explained to them the whole situation ( They asked why I was leaving), and I kid you not, the guy on the phone said, "well tbh, unless we send you a returns label or write to you asking you to return it, then I suppose it's yours". (one thing I need to note is that at one point I had both pixels in my house and mixed the phones up. So accidentally opened vodafone set up etc, I made this explicitly clear to the guy though. to which he replied, "Yeah, I see no reason you can't keep it") So....do I need to worry about trying to get this back to them? or hold onto it until they decide to contact me? Can't decide, more than happy to keep it, but can not be arsed to deal with them in the future if need be. Thanks anyway.

Don’t the game saves back up to the cloud automatically anyway? So I’m not sure you be losing much. You might be able to test by logging into a buddies PS4 downloading a game and seeing if the game save comes down too? If they are then you can just grab a new drive and use the firmware installer from the ps website to set a new one up. Unless its it’s a different h/w issue.

I have done this myself, it’s real easy. 1. Back up saves 2. Download the install tool from PS website and put on usb 3. Replace the drive 4. Switch on with usb plugged in 5. Follow on screen instructions. took maybe 15mins to get the PlayStation ready to download my games again. oorrrr you can just plug a USB 3 external HDD in and be done?

A promotion is available in my place of work which I have applied for. It will be working closely within the Intune and Azure environments. (lots of MS cloud areas to be honest). So to get ready for the interview I wanted to start reading up on both to bolster my knowledge and in simple terms, look better in the interview. Does anyone know of some knowledge bases to get started with? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, have you got any info on the cooling issues? I have not been able to find anything to say so? Also what is wrong with the build quality? Reviews I have seen do not seem to have have bashed the quality at all.

Really? Sims wouldn't run on on a £1000 laptop? Is it even that intensive a game? Im asking as I have no Idea having never played one. I was thinking IPS too , I was just unsure of the availability of IPS in this price range.

Trying to help a colleague but a laptop. Has only two specifications for it. 1. wants to do casual photo editing on it with Photoshop. (sometimes raw images) 2. it has to be able to run the Sims 4. Can go upto £1000 , and we live in the UK. He is also just as impatient as me, so he wants it as soon as possible. And I need to stress this he is very impatient. I mean If i dont help him buy somethign this weekend, he might just go and buy a Mac on Monday.

I think this is great, I love how much distance there is in this. I think that the tone is overall a bit gloomy also add's to it really well too. Nicely done. Took this the other day when the big o'l cheese wheel was super bright. Its not the most amazing picture, but I was very happy that @ 40x zoom I was steady enough to take it first time with no tripod. Go Me.

I think this is pretty nice one tbh, I like the idea that the one on the right is looking for the one on the left, but doesn't realise his mates behind him. "Gary, GArrrry" ************************************** I am by no means a photographer and dont consider my self to be any good, but I quite like this. Its not edited more than a bit of cropping. Taken on my Nikon B500.
