your cpu is more than capable.
your gpu might be more related to your problems. 

id wait for volta rather than jump on a 1080ti (or perhaps jump one one once they drop in price due to volta being released )

Your system is fine for VR, you probably just can't run the games above the minimum settings
 
Your CPU is like 90% as fast as a 7700K or something man, it's not the CPU.

Run the Steam VR benchmark maybe.

It is up to the developers or yourself to configure SLI. Very few VR games are using SLI at the moment, but you should be able to force the options from within Nvidia Control Panel.

I know that the infinity fabric's speed is dependent on the RAM.  Although my knowledge is limited on the subject.

Why would you be triggered? Gamers are making money, miners will I guess. I mean some people are gonna be hurtin after this is all over, but not gamers.

You could have expressed that with a PM.

To pay off a $500 gpu you would need it to mine for about 3.5 months for it to pay for itself at today's current mining difficulty and ethereum price. That is an awfully long time to expect this mining to continue like this.

Why don't they buy a nvidia cards I've heard it works good with a 1070.
 
 

Right now you may as well spend 499 on a 1080. The 1050 ti and the 1080/1080 ti are the only two cards worth buying at their current prices for gaming.

You might be better off just using the new one, the v300 is probably the worst name brand drive on the market, high failure rates and slow. The 840 evo is going to do you much better, hopefully it's not the motherboard.

3D PRINT A GAMING CASE!!!
 
It doesnt have to be a large case and if you had to you could print it in sections that screw or snap together. You could make anything and make airflow work in creative ways or what ever. You could also maybe make a contest for viwers to design a case and you pick the winner. You could do so much with this idea if you wanted.
 
Ok it wouldnt be that time consuming or costly Luke just printed a huge piece for that bomb case. It dosnt have to be large it case be anything use your imaginaion stop thinking of things like heat and making a huge case. All you have to do is set the mobo on the same metal risers and things like a normal case also the attachments points dont get anywhere near hot enuf to melt plasic like what is used in the printer.

I over clocked it to 4.7 GHz with a vcore voltage of 1.3 and its doing amazing. With AIDA64 the temps never get over 75c with a push from outside in setup. Now im having trouble with the stupid Corsair link. Its junk. Keep hearing a USB diconnect sound over and over and over driving me nuts. Today it seems ok but when i start a game thats usually when it starts. the Corsair Logo blinks when u hear the USB sound. Also in corsair link my pump and fan info is flashing red? it works but i dont know what that means it wasnt there at first.
