  1. Hi Guys, Looking for a tablet with a few things I would need from it. Would need to have Cellular and some kind of IP rating for watersplashes as this tablet is going to be used mostly outside. I would like it to a rugged type but I would actually prefer it to be a case rather than the tablet itself. The tablets i've seen so far look old/some random brand. Thanks
  2. These kinds of road maps practically mean nothing. A piece of marketing.
  3. Is there any major difference? I've heard a VA panel has a lot of Ghosting/input lag but it is 144Hz. I currently have a 75 IPS screen. Would the VA panel be better or worse with input lag? LG 29UM67-P IPS AOC AG322QCX VA Cheers,
  4. Couldn't you just connect the 2 165Hz to DP and 4K to HDMI 2.0?

    AOC

Personally already have a LG Monitor and am satisfied with it. Love the Joystick menu.

    AOC

Is AOC a alright brand? Comparing it against a brand like LG.
  7. LG : http://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-27UD68-P-4k-uhd-led-monitor AOC : http://eu.aoc.com/en/products/u2777pqu My biggest concern really is the QC difference between AOC and LG. Also Local dimming vs Freesync although I do watch a lot of movies rather than play games. Is there like a major difference between these two?
  8. Currently got a 29" 29UM67-P 2560x1080 IPS a 1920x1080 21" IPS and 1920x1080 TN screen. I've being looking into 4K a bit and maybe an upgrade from my 2560x1080 to 3440x1440 100Hz but is insanely expensive. Got about 500USD to spend. Wanted to replace one of my 1080P TN Monitors with a 4K IPS one but is it worth it? Use it mostly for watching video are reading stuff. It's my left side monitor. Or should I replace my ultrawide with an 2560x1440 144Hz as I do play a lot of games but I will lose Ultrawide which is a almost instant deal-breaker.
  9. LG, AOC, Samsung, Asus, Dell, HP to name a few are good brands. I would watch the Techquickie video on tearing and LCD panel types to get more knowledge about panels. If you really want 144Hz I would recommend an 1440P 144/100Hz panel with G-sync if you can find one but can be more expensive. I personally would go for a 4K IPS 60Hz panel but that can be challanging to run with a 1060 depending on what game you play. WoW shouldn't be an issue but more modern games you would need to turn down the settings.
  10. We should have multiple people adding stuff yh. If this gains traction it would be impossible for a single person to do.
  11. Witcher 3 - Adventure/RPG style game with great atmosphere and storyline. You play as a monster contracter (Witcher) in a fantasy world. DLC's are all worth it.
  12. Witcher 3 would be nice to see on this list
  13. As far as i'm aware the Honor 6x is basically the same phone but with a bit bigger screen (5.2"->5.5") a secondary camera but is a bit older than the P10 Lite and has a slower SOC but is practically the same one. I would go for the Honor 6x just because it has that secondary camera and bigger screen. You do lose 802.11ac though with the Honor 6x.
  14. It's just TN nothing more. It's just an improved version of TN but still nowhere near IPS or VA. There is the LG 27UD68-P or maybe AOC U3277PWQU which might interest you. The AOC is VA but VA is pretty much IPS with better contrast in my experience and it's 32".
  15. I've being comparing a couple of monitors for a couple of days and I have narrowed it down to 2 specific ones. The AOC U3277PWQU http://eu.aoc.com/en/business/products/u3277pwqu/specs - 3840x2160 Resolution at 31.5" - MVA Panel (3000:1) 10-Bit color - Height adjust, Pivot, Tilt , Swivel, Speakers and a USB Hub. - WLED backlight - 4ms response time The LG 27UD68-P http://www.lg.com/uk/monitors/lg-27UD68P - 3840x2160 Resolution at 27" - IPS Panel (1000:1) 10-Bit color - Height adjust, Pivot, Tilt and Speakers. - Edge-lit backlight - Freesync support (40Hz-60Hz) - 5ms response time Both come in at €449,- Now I like the stand of the AOC more the bezel's of the LG one are godlike and I already have 2 other LG monitors with the same design (not same monitor) I'm currently running one 29" ultrawide and a 21.5" Monitor and the third monitor is very old and is getting replaced with a 4K one and I am concerned with the size. Is the AOC to big? (31.5") Are VA panels better than IPS? And the backlight difference, I do not know anything about can somebody please explain?. Overal winner in your opinion? Thanks,
  16. I'm an android guy so no IOS here S8 is a great phone yeah but I don't like those curves, they feel like I need to babysit the phone and the light reflection is annoying. I ended up going with the G6 because it has a better build in my opinion and also a more natural fingerprint scanner. The IPS screen is really good and after a while if you are coming from an amoled you won't notice any more. Thanks for the input though.
  17. V20 Is not available anymore where I live, somehow. Also pricing was ridiculous when it was. LG G6 costs 540 Oneplus 500 and Axon 420EUR.
  18. The Axon 7s, what style of dual camera does it have? like extra wide or just for focus or telephoto?
  19. I've recently being looking around for a new phone as my old Moto x 2014 has started getting a bit slow and lacks a fingerprint scanner. I use my phone mainly for watching video and movies and reading lots of articles online. Getting a phone with a good camera would also be nice to have as I would like to take some nice pictures as we are heading into the summer. I really don't care about the selfie cam though and a good DAC would be nice (running HD 558) Got about 550 Euro to spend Max. Have seen some good phones though but can't really decide. LG G6 Love the Aspect ratio but is it worth it? also no Amoled. Oneplus 5 Nice phone but nothing special. Has the Perf. ZTE Axon 7 Very nice screen but hate the design and camera is lacking. Any other phone maybe?
  20. If your going for the 100 Dollars more, The LG G6 also has really good discounts and fixes all the flaws the G5 has.
  21. This has to be stopped. asap.
  22. Every kit requires a certain specialty like medics require about 30 med kits or grenadier requires a grenade launcher you can pick that up from the ammo pack at the hanger, Rifleman doens't require any special equipement. This bit is for 77th JSOC only though as I do not play on Ahoy as often.
  23. You just join and then usually the HQ or Commander will assign you to a squad. From there on out the squad leader will tell you and your squad what your mission is and you can ask any general question if you have any. You do need to know the basics first but those are already explained in the Arma 3 main campaign. At first it might be a bit confusing but after a couple mission you usually get the hang of it. When you join you must choose a kit I would recommend a basic kit like rifleman or grenadier. AA or AT can be quite confusing early on.
  24. If the 77th JSOC servers are full the Ahoy World servers are great too all be it a bit less structured. https://www.gametracker.com/server_info/144.76.82.169:2302/
