Most likely psu, mine is fried as well got a surge through it and since then it will shut down whenever there is large shift in load (ie. Idle to booting a synthetic bench) without tearing down the psu I can only assume a cap is near boned and can't regulate rapid shifts in load. Try see if you can cause the issue and report back or just rma the psu. I am fortunate I have a spare laying around, just need to find the time to year the pc down and rebuild with the other psu (the joys of a prodigy, a failed psu is nearly a full tear down job).

The whiplash claims are a joke. Having had 2 major accidents I can assure you if you have the time to complain about whiplash you are fine. Working in marine paint and blast I have a little bit of experience with paints. The choice of paint mostly comes down to the finish you want, $$$ you are willing to spend and amount of time you are willing to invest. First question you need to ask yourself is what finish you are after and desired lifespan of the finish. For short term or something you aren't sure about plastidip is a great choice because you can easily remove it and change your mind. For a long term finish I would be stepping away from aerosols completely and looking at gravity fed guns with a good enamel. Urathanes will always give the smoothest finish however urathanes can travel huge distances while airborne making overspray a serious issue. If you want a satin or Matt finish enamels work a treat. If you don't have the $$$ or space to drop on doing a gravity fed gun finish on it aersols can give a fairly decent finish just be particular with your prep work. 90% of a finish is prep.

AMD has much lower budgets to invest and the fact given the run they have had in the last few years they are still kicking is pretty impressive. They are floating because of their gpu section and while they are playing catch up intel is getting to use their RnD to toy with features that interest the niche market and refine their power efficiency leaving AMD in a really sticky situation. The 9590 is an example that you can only brute force so much and all the time intel has had to refine their power consumption and integrating features to the cpu die for native support is only screwing the enthusiast end of the market for AMD even more. It is hard being behind the 8 ball and that is the reality for AMD in the enthusiast cpu market at the moment.

Dual graphics is a moot point now days in just about every way. And has setups that beat it, Intel has setups that beat it. The only reason for dual graphics is htpc on the ultra low budget whereby you need it right now. If you can afford dual graphics out the Ute you can afford a better dedicated card setup. Also never trust amd board readings and that heatsink below your ram is important, that is your south bridge. That melts (which they often do) and the board is a brick. However having said that for just gaming the increased cost of the fx build will put the i3 or pentium builds in a better position as any possible stretch to the budget will allow the i3 or pentium to upgrade to a new gpu first. If pure gaming is the goal the i3 build is a good choice, if you want to overclock the pentium build is a good choice and if you should stumble into the money to upgrade to an unlocked i5 later you can get a huge cpu upgrade without need for mobo change. At this point from a pure numbers perspective it is just almost impossible to recommend amd for cpu. With the fx build despite the 6300 and 8320 or 8350 all running AM3+ I would never recommend putting an 83xx chip into a micro atx AM3+ board. Alternatively keeping an eye out for bargins here and there isn't necessarily a bad idea, I parted ways with my old i5 3570k + 7870xt rig for $1000 just because at the time I needed to down size to an itx rig. It is possible to jag some cheap hardware on the second hand market however without being able to inspect the rig or knowing the seller it can be hit and miss.

Terrible idea considering at 21 years of age I still don't have a clue what I want to be. I can design and build a motor/generator with scrap laying around the house. I can disassemble and reassemble a ute with little hassle, have rewired entire houses and threw in an engineering degree because of family issues arising that needed sorting (3 years later they are almost resolved). Despite all this I couldn't honestly say what I want to do, I work to cover my bills and play + a few bucks to spare until such time as I can work out what the hell I want to do. All good, I have seen setups using retarded amounts of ram and have learnt to appreciate that while I have 0 use for more than 8gb of ram 90% of the time some people do need crazy amounts (think the highest I have seen was a build with 256gb as a music production rig) so I just ask now. Looks fairly solid, personally I would pick a lian li case just because they scream hackintosh to me however that is a personal thing. When are you building this? Much the same as you can drive a high performance car like a little old lady and casually cruise, you don't have to overclock. However the way I see it, why have unused potential sitting there if you aren't going to use it. (I may also be a rev head).

What do you want to take photos of? What lense(s) will you be running? A dslr body isnt that expensive compared to lenses, personally i have a canon 350d ($318 aud) with a tamron 60mm macro lense ($499 aud) a canon 50mm ($150 aud) a tamron 18-270mm lense mkII ($550 aud)+ several other lenses totaling a further $500 aud. Having said that a dslr is an awesome investment and i would probably go it in the long run.

Ah well there you go. It is a slightly higher binned chip but the differences really aren't worth the cost differential in my opinion. On that note though if you do get it and find yourself wanting to upgrade to haswell-e I will be happy to buy it off you (hell a reason to head down to vic again away from the humidity of cairns and spend a night on the beers at the espy if a decent gig is on). 4930k ($669) 3.4ghz (3.9ghz turbo) 12MB cache 4960x ($1199) 3.6ghz (4.0ghz turbo) 15MB cache Basically if the extra 0.1ghz boost clock and 3MB cache is going to be worth the extra $530 then by all means go ahead however the 4960X won't hold resale value as well as the 4930k.

For the average end user though they will cut the mustard proper uv doesn't has much of a place outside of showcase rigs that have had such a large amount of money, time and planning invested that the uv lighting cost is almost negligable.

The corsair units aren't bad but there is plenty of air options, noctua is regarded as one of the best air cooler brands you can get, if you don't mind the appearance the NH-U14S (http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=productview&products_id=64&lng=en) is probably one of your best bets. Though considering you won't be overclocking there isn't many "bad" air coolers out there so if you want something nicer to look at then find one you like and just double check on the air cooling forum (more so for motherboard and ram compatibility).If you are looking at doing this in 4 weeks then 3930k or 4930k depending on pricing and availability is a good start and if haswell-e drops and you want to upgrade it should still get a decent resale value as you haven't overclocked it (hell if you were in Australia and you got one and decided to upgrade later i would sure buy a babied chip even if it was used for 18-24 months).

Main reason for the haswell-e wait is increased ram capacity with ddr4 and hopefully some nice tight timings with it. I will have a bit of a look around seeing insomnia has kicked in and see what i can dig up, if you can jag the titan('s) on the cheap from people upgrading to titan blacks they might not be a bad idea. I do agree with doing an upgrade and then evaluating if more power is going to improve the productivity enough to justify the cost. Would be nothing worse then dumping $10,000 and finding you only needed to spend $5000 before it was no longer noticable performance increase.
