  1. Nope, no point That system uses 450 W, so you'd want a 500 W PSU, therefore I got 600 for this OC headroom
  2. From what I know some applications store their settings in different places, some on the install directory and some in AppData so it would be a App by App basis. There is a website (sorry cant remember the name of it, just google this question) that you can select the programs you want to download and it will download all the exe's for you and package them into one continuous lot of installers - not much of a timer saver imo Windows media creation tool makes you create a bootable USB If you do a clean install from windows it prompts you to use their media creation tool - I think If I were you i'd keep nothing from my current install apart from either Uni work or coding protect save files(which are all saved on Google Drive anyway), everything else i'd spend the time to reconfigure
  3. All these prices are USD but you said it would be similar in your country, either way this might be the component list you'd aim for PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($242.99 @ SuperBiiz) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H97-HD3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($70.29 @ Newegg) Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($48.89 @ OutletPC) Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($49.99 @ NCIX US) Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R9 390 8GB SOC Video Card ($289.99 @ Newegg) Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case ($49.99 @ Newegg) Power Supply: Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($44.99 @ Newegg) Total: $797.13 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2015-09-22 06:59 EDT-0400
  4. Where are you getting htis information? Toi my knowledge there was an issue with the ACX 1.0 cooler, but not because it wasn't designed for it.
  5. There're all the same, the Gigabyte is generally regarded as the best for overclocking if that's something to concern yourself with then i'd suggest that one otherwise if you don't want to OC too high than EVGA will be fine
  6. The Titan Black is an interesting card but your 980 is far better than it
  7. P95 is relatively safe, aslong as you're monitoring the temperatures, it's designed for a absolute worse case (hence the extra voltage drawing) which may or may not be the OPs objective.
  8. @NeatSquidYT As far as I understand this is correct, toppings(count) would be calling (hence your error message) the method toppings passing through count but that's not what you want. Also i'd suggest using a range loop rather than a counter
  9. if it's crashing after doing that then it's just bad luck, you got the short straw on the lottery not to mention it's not a good idea to overclock this way, using the multiplier is a much better plan, not so much an option in your case
  10. That's a stupid answer. There are many kinds of servers, it depends on what you need it for. And if you're too lazy to describe your reasoning for needing one then you probably are too impatient to build one aswell
  11. Good is a relative term, what are we voting that this computer is good for?
  12. hngggh, that SSD though, usually $302 in my land, would be 220 if I got it, tis tempting
  13. Works fine for me, could be your internet
  14. Dude, can you just stop posting. OP may need a 3k PC for a certain reason, a reason he did not state, or he's just messing with us and wants to see what 3k could get him. Either way you're not providing anything helpful to anyone and spreading false information/logic
  15. Here's a build 33 over 3k, if it's what you want, probably not but you didn't specify what it's for. 16. You know he said Australian right? no, Titan is not a good idea for this, unless he specifically needs it
  17. PC Part Picker is a very good resource for show computer builds Also I don't understand, you have one over the top build and one budget build
  18. Please, I know it's your first time posting but read the thread about posting. And use PCPartPicker(http://pcpartpicker.com/)
  19. Everything looks good for overclocking, however i'm not certain what you're asking. There are lots of guides on how to overclock if that's what you're asking. Outside of that i'd just like to say that you really shouldn't bother overclocking RAM, it wont provide any noticeable difference to anything for the normal user but it is possible to for it to cause problems for this zero benefit
  20. I think you might be a bit bias against OnePlus. I have not heard of the performance being crippled due to overheating, I have heard that it gets hot when in an intensive game but again not crippling them. I also have not heard of any problems with the screen brightness. I personally think 13MP is enough, im no photographer so what's the point in a better camera? Again I personally don't want a micro SD slot, since I prefer a sealed phone and I dont have a GB's of files on my phone, that's what my computer is for. The missing quickcharge feature is disappointing but as long as the phone lasts the day (with low to moderate useage) then I don't see why it's needed. I wouldn't use NFC currently. I don't get what you're saying about the battery? it's bigger than the S6, uhm, LOL? Im comparing the 1+2 against other flagships because of the price difference, I thought I mentioned that in OP. I am also not comparing it to the 1+1, dunno where you got that from. The invite system is a bit stupid but I have patients, however I have seen retailers saying that they have it in-stock on their websites, is it not possible to just buy form them rather than directly from OnePlus?
  21. What problems does the 1+2 have? Only bad things i've seen is no nfc, wireless charging or proper USB Type-C Also from what "rumors" I've seen the nexus is going to have similar specs to 1+2 except including the short comings above Cant get this in my land
  22. im not familiar with Nexus release prices, would it be expected to be that of about a S6?
  23. So i want to make the change from IOS (iPhone 5c to Andriod, but im not certain what one to go for, I'm liking most of the specs from the OnePlus 2 but idk if I should go for that or wait for the next Nexus. I've considered both the G4 and S6, but decided against them since the S6 is about 200 more and I don't like the buttons/bloatware and higher res screen on G4 even though it's the same price as the OnePlus Prices in NZD btw
  24. Yeah, aight my friend has a soldering Iron I think ill definitely give this a shot. And yeah the LED is on the same circuit for both keys so no problem there
