and a way better than black for my Red Poseidon, imagine with red coolant, again WOW

Try this until it works
unplug every connection and re-plugged them check if your RAM is correctly seated clear CMOS try other PSU

Get a Western Digital or Seagate 3TB drive

I would go with the Seagate one
Seagate is one of the best companies when it comes to storage
 
It should support WD green drives but Green drives are not the most adequate to RAID configurations you should go with WD RED's instead

Get Ubuntu it's really easy to use
