  1. Start by checking some tutorials online and trying to do them and then when you finished them do your own changes to see the effects
  2. Disabling cores helps with overclocking a bit because of the cores being turned off they do not produce heat and therefore you can push it a little bit more
  3. Even if you get stability issues you can always go back to the BIOS and changed the setting to ones that you know that work safely and stable
  4. I'll try to answer to all the questions together Damaged to the CPU can occur when to much voltage is applied and the CPU is not cooled properly, so if you keep the CPU properly cooled then you don't have to worry to much about voltages as long as you don't go crazy (keep voltages bellow 1.5V) and look out for the temperatures (don't go over 75ºC when in stress testing) If you run into stability issues just dial back the overclock
  5. Can you give some more details Like what's plugged in or connected nearby I've had in the past some speakers that when not receiving signal from the PC they would do a noise
  6. Seems like the install progress bar of windows in the past
  7. Just use your money and upgrade your graphics card to a GTX780 or wait for the RADEON9000 series graphics cards
  8. It doesn't require a professional to do it well, I'm an "amateur" and I've done it in the past and turned out decent It's a matter of having the patience to do it slowly and take the time to do it well
  9. It can be done and it can look decent to good if done properly Electricians sometimes use a similar type of tape to insulate wires and I've seen it done so well that it seems like it belongs with no air pockets and very even
  10. Then you are perfectly fine as long as you don't cover the connecting piece there is no problem You can safely wrap the wires and plastic connector
  11. Personally I would stick with the AMD system You won't have any benefits from changing to the Intel system If you feel like upgrading something just sell the 8150 and buy an 8320 or an 8350 Otherwise use your money on something else
  12. If you mean putting the tape on the outside of the cables like if it was sleeving then you are fine there are no danger in doing so
  13. Any good branded power supply with about 500W to 700W Yes that should work fine
  14. I try to buy with some future proof in mind so that my computer doesn't become obsolete very soon and then try to do some minor updates until it stops working completely
  15. A quick Google search of chicony cpa09-022a turned out this links www.laptoppartsnow.com/j02100lclac02.html http://www.ebay.com/itm/300W-AC-Adapter-4-Pin-Female-Connector-Fits-Chicony-A300A001L-REV-01-CPA09-022A-/380491656878?pt=Laptop_Adapters_Chargers&hash=item589711eeae And this thread on another forum http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/684200-chicony-300-watt-psu-x7200-useful-other-clevos.html The connector I believe is a 4 pin DIN Hope it helps
  16. If you fold 24/7 then yes it would payoff to have a more efficient power supply A high efficient power supply would pay itself in a few months of 24/7 folding
  17. @MulleyUK Like @Wesley maybe a small accent would look great something like a thin stripe around the logo would look great
  18. You should paint the Cooler Master logo to make it stand out a bit
  19. Go with thew AMD build It gives better overall performance
  20. It's not the most advisable thing to do Haswell CPU's tend to get really hot when overclocked
  21. Yes it's a draw back but I think it fits perfectly with your build
  22. Perfect for this build would be Kingston NaVi Ltd Edition SSD & Ram as shown here
