  1. It's a good idea for a mod and could turn out really well, I just don't know if the heat from the inside of the system would harm the fishes
  2. Try using Silverstone Ultra Slim Sata Cable Link
  3. Thank you for the reply The Cpu slot not folding sorted itself out the next day after reboot (still don't know how) But now and then it has some issues and freezes for example at 65% and doesn't move forward and when I reboot it goes back to 40% I've been reading a little bit about the configurations of the Folding@Home Client and trying to figure out if it was some bad configuration
  4. I have to admit that the green LED's turned out really well Congrats on your build
  5. It varies depending on the ambient temperature but 37ºC is very good
  6. As you can see here the 230T has mounting holes in the roof for 2*120mm or 2*140mm and the 120mm fan mounts are offset in order to allow for the installation of 240mm rads Reference: Link
  7. I just prefer white LED's because they enhance the other colors but still going to keep close attention to this build log to see the final look
  8. Great build, the color scheme is outstanding and the green on the fan rings is just perfect Personally I'd have put in white LED's, but it still is really a good job
  9. Hello to all. I've just started folding a couple of days ago and I had no issues but today after finishing a CPU Work Unit, the CPU slot downloaded another Work Unit and it is just not doing anything. As you may see in the following picture the CPU is working but the Work Unit is stalled at 0.00% and it has been that way for almost an hour now Please anyone that could help I would appreciate very much
  10. On a similar note does anyone have a template for the Corsair CX600 power supply sticker?
  11. I agree with you 5:4 works great for me, it gives me a lot of space to have two windows side-by-side for programming and reading web pages
  12. From those you selected I'd go with the Gigabyte one If you can wait and see what the new AMD cards bring out
  13. Buy a Corsair AX series and the sleeved cables for it
  14. I don't know if it usefull for you but this one takes an HDMI input and splits it into Audio and VGA http://www.adafruit.com/products/1151 The VGA may not be the best thing to have but is what I've found
  15. Note that not all compilers are single threaded, most of them are but not all of them But I agree with you an Intel cpu would better for this case and Haswell would be good also to save some power
  16. Use an online service to backup the important information or like it was already said above encrypt your data
  17. Ask the repair company if they need you to send the drive or if you can send the laptop without the drive
  18. I believe that it's not mode l# but the batch # Usually CPU's from the same batch tend to perform and overclock similarly, of course within a margin
  19. Go with either white or green acrylic
